Lilith and Frasier help a friend who teaches a marriage-counseling course at the university. They agree to play the roles of a couple in therapy during the class' midterm exam. The exercise proves to be too painful for Lilith, who shocks everyone when she explodes with her true feelings of suffocation and loss of identity. She concludes her tirade with the revelation that she's having an affair. Later that evening, in a less public discussion, Lilith informs Frasier that her lover is also a colleague. All this comes as a relief to Rebecca, who spotted Lilith with 'the other man' on the street. Frasier convinces his wife to end the relationship, and after she departs to do so, drowns his sorrows in a beer mug at Cheers. When Lilith finally returns to find a very inebriated Frasier, she informs him that she was unable to end the relationship because she is in love--and she is leaving Frasier. While Lilith and Frasier sort out their problems, Sam is dealing with his own ordeal; namely, a terrorizing, over-bearing bouncer named Tiny. Hired to stop the rash of bar brawls brought about by hockey season, Tiny throws out half of Cheers' customers, severely cutting down on business. Since Sam is afraid to hire the bruiser, he holds a pow-wow with the gang on ways to trick Tiny into leaving. Tiny overhears and leaves his job with a tear in his eye, sparking a gleeful celebration at the bar. watch
