CBS News' Lara Logan is starring in as many headlines as she is reporting. Having recently been promoted by the Eye (and not long after she dissed network news coverage on The Daily Show!), Logan has revealed to the Washington Post that she is pregnant with State Department contractor Joe Burkett's child. Logan and Burkett are both married... to other people, though both of those unions are in the process of ending.Burkett's wife and mother of their 3-year-old daughter has accused Logan of busting up her marriage, and reportedly tried to OD on tranquilizers last January when hubby announced he was leaving her for Logan. — Matt Mitovich

CBS News' Lara Logan on Wednesday was promoted to chief foreign affairs correspondent and relocated to Washington, D.C. — this just days after the she critiqued network news reporting on The Daily Show.Speaking to Jon Stewart, the South African had grumbled that her meaty reports from Baghdad often get shelved in favor of fluff, adding, "If I were to watch the news that you get here in the United States, I would just blow my brains out. It would drive me nuts."In announcing Logan's new gig, CBS News boss Sean McManus hailed her as "extraordinarily determined and courageous."
