They say the vice president is one heartbeat away from the presidency. Veep's VP, Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), might say otherwise. The comedy's previous season ended with her celebrating being the party's pick for the presidential nomination. But when Season 3 kicks off, a few months have passed and Selina's path to the Oval Office isn't as clear as she expected.
Lady Gaga stepped behind the camera to direct her latest music video, which features a medley of songs off of ARTPOP including "Venus" and "G.U.Y." — and the result is just as bizarre as you might expect.
It was all Top 10 all the time on Wednesday's American Idol, with the 10 finalists performing Top 10 songs from 2011 or later (a.k.a. songs that will make viewers of a certain age feel very old if they are unfamiliar with them).
Throughout the course of the evening, selfies were taken, judges Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban did amazing impersonations of each other, and Malaya got her first bouquet of flowers (aww) from Ryan Seacrest and the Idol crew. But let's get to the performances:
Plenty of people were grossed out by Lady Gaga's performance at SXSW, in which she allowed artist Millie Brown to vomit on her during the song "Swine" — but Demi Lovato was actually angered.
"Sad... As if we didn't have enough people glamorizing eat disorders already," Lovato, who has spoken publicly about her struggles with bulimia, tweeted Friday. "Bottom line, it's not 'cool' or 'artsy' at all."
Of course she did.
During her first SXSW performance Thursday night, Lady Gaga let artist Millie Brown — otherwise known as the vomit painter — puke on her chest.
As Gaga performed "Swine," Brown repeatedly stuck her fingers down her throat and regurgitated bright green milk onto the singer, making us once again question what exactly Nickelodeon's notorious slime was made of.
