Rob Kardashian, Ricki Lake and J.R. Martinez
Is Dancing with the Stars' Mirrorball trophy still J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff's to lose? The frontrunner suffered an ankle injury last week, meaning Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, and Ricki Lake and Derek Hough are still very much in the running — not that they were ever completely out of it. Kardashian's improbable journey may be the story of the season, and Lake has Hough, the show's first three-time champ, in her corner.
The trio will face off Monday and Tuesday with four dances: an unlearned dance, their favorite dance, the Instant samba and, of course, the freestyle.
Who's got the edge? Let's size them up!
Lacey Schwimmer, Chaz Bono
Chaz Bono wants to make it clear: He has not succumbed to the Dancing with the Stars injury curse. Despite lingering knee pain that forced his partner Lacey Schwimmer to change the choreography in their quickstep, the transgendered activist and author says he is not injured — nor is there fear of him getting injured. "My doctor doesn't seem terribly worried," he tells TVGuide.com. "They're feeling pretty good right now. Nothing's wrong with them. I've been icing them and massaging, [doing] a little physical therapy." The good news is that he next has the less physically demanding rumba. See what else he has to say about his knee pain, why it's important for him to go far on the show, and if his mom, Cher, will swing by.

Hines Ward and Kym Johnson
You'd think that after winning a marathon as grueling as Dancing With The Stars, the winner would be thinking about lounging on a beach somewhere, sipping fruity drinks with little umbrellas. Not Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver Hines Ward. The newly crowned Season 12 winner is thinking about summer football practice, the next football season — and having surgery...
Kirstie Alley, Hines Ward, Chelsea Kane
Season 12 of Dancing with the Stars may be touted as one of the closest ever, but 52 percent of TVGuide.com readers think Hines Ward will run away with the Mirrorball trophy come Tuesday night. Still, that doesn't mean we can count out fan favorite Kirstie Alley and Disney young'un Chelsea Kane, who along with the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, make up the top-scoring couples of the season.
"This season has been so up and down. There have been so many people on top of the leader board. I think it's really going to come down to who the audience wants to see," Ward's partner, Kym Johnson, says. "All three are such different personalities and such different styles. This one is totally up in the air, I think. You just don't know."
Dancing's Maks: Making the finals would mean validation
The trio will face off Monday with a repeat dance, a judges' pick (with new choreography and music) and the highly anticipated freestyle.

Dancing With The Stars, Kym Johnson
They may not have gotten a 10 yet, but Hines Ward and Kym Johnson are the highest-scoring couple this season on Dancing with the Stars — though it may be news to them. "I didn't know that we were. It seems to be different people [topping the leader board] every week, like last week, so I didn't know. That's amazing," Johnson tells TVGuide.com. "That feels really good because it means we've been consistent. I know how much work Hines puts in and if we deliver the goods every week, I think we'll be OK. Hopefully it'll pay off with a 10 soon." They have double the work to put in this week with the Team Cha-Cha Challenge on tap. So how is everything going?
