"If you could decide who lives and who dies, that would make you a monster."Mr. CooperHail and well met all! New episodes of Torchwood, new (old) episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures and now new episodes of Doctor Who: all is well with the world now! I'm extremely happy us poor blokes in North America do not have to wait months and months to continue our travels with the Doctor, so let's get to it, shall we?Some quick notes:The blog will be organized with a straight forward recap/synopsis followed by my actually commentary, nitpicks and quotes. As time goes on, I will probably shorten the recap portion or just change it up because that's how I roll. This blog is based on the unedited BBC broadcast of the show so there is a chance that I could reference a scene th...

On a new network and with new announcers in the booth, Monday Night Football may seem a bit different when it kicks off its season Sept. 11 at 7 pm/ET, on ESPN. But one thing will sound awfully familiar: Hank Williams Jr.'s iconic opening salvo, "Are you ready for some football?!"
The night's doubleheader of Minnesota at Washington and San Diego at Oakland marks the 16th year the country legend has supplied the rousing intro, actually titled "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming over Monday Night." In fact, Williams ("Bocephus" to his fans) is known more for the MNF theme in some circles than for his hits like "Family Tradition." A hotel bellman in Detroit once even referred to him as the "Rowdy Friend."
