Ryan Seacrest is hosting the second edition of the Emmy Award-winning Idol Gives Back special on Wednesday, April 9, at 7:30pm/ET on Fox. Some new faces have been added to the roster of performers and personalities scheduled to appear, including presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain. Aussie popstress Kylie Minogue has been tapped to play a "major lead role" in this year's Christmas episode of the BBC's Doctor Who, entitled "Voyage of the Damned." "It is an incredible thrill to be joining David [Tennant] and the entire Doctor Who production," says Minogue in a statement. "It is going to be very exciting."
