After Dancing with the Stars' predictable Season 10 — in which practically everyone foresaw Nicole Scherzinger winning — the host was hoping for more surprises from this season's hodgepodge of evenly matched contenders.
"We got it! Really, it all started with David Hasselhoff [who was eliminated first]. That was the most shocking moment for me," Bergeron tells TVGuide.com. "I have no idea what happened there. I was like, 'What the hell?' I figured we had at least four good weeks of comedy coming and boom! He's gone!"

The former Los Angeles Laker has three National Basketball Association championships, and a Dancing with the Stars victory this season would give his pro partner a record third Mirrorball trophy. After coming oh-so-close to the Mirrorball trophy twice, Dancing with the Stars' Anna Trebunskaya is ready to go all the way this season with Kurt Warner. "I hope so. It's still a long way to go, but I think we can do it," she tells TVGuide.com. "Kurt's working really hard and has made a lot of strides in the past week alone."
