Although she started out as Lauren Conrad's BFF on Season 1 of The Hills (new season premieres Tuesday, Sept. 29, 10/9c, MTV), Heidi Montag Pratt soon turned into the reality show's resident bad girl. Teaming up with her now-husband Spencer Pratt, Heidi was often at the center of the drama, whether by spreading vicious rumors about LC or catfighting with bartenders who hit on her hubby. This season, former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari returns to reality TV, and judging by the way the devil in a blue dress sashayed into Spencer and Heidi's wedding during last season's finale, Heidi might have some competition. MATT: Both Chyler Leigh and I are of the mind that Grey's Anatomy would be hard-pressed to accommodate Pompeo's pregnancy, if only because of the timing. "As far as I know they are not [writing it in]," Leigh told me, pointing out that by the time the ABC serial resumes production, "Ellen will be, like, seven months [along]." The only way I see it happening — and at least one source allows, "It could go either way" — is if Season 6 picks up five or six months after the recent finale. Such a jump would also allow poor George time to heal and look like recast Eddie Cibrian. (I kid!)

Kristin Cavallari sported a Bebe skirt and shoes as host of yesterday's fashion show featuring the line's spring/summer 2008 collection. Thrown by the Beverly Hills Women's Club, the show raised funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. "I hosted a Bebe fashion show when they did the Make-a-Wish Foundation event a few months ago," Cavallari told TV Guide. "I loved it so much, when they asked me to come back it was a no-brainer." Laguna Beach babe Kristin Cavallari and Entourage's Kevin Connolly (aka Nicky Hilton's ex) made it clear they were a couple at the House of Hennessy at Super Bowl XLII party, presented by 944 Magazine and Tao Nightclub Sunday evening at a private mansion in Phoenix. Lauren Conrad knows a thing or two about rumors, and the latest one making rounds is that her boyfriend-stealing nemesis from Laguna Beach, Kristin Cavallari, is joining The Hills. "No!"
