The Once Upon a Time powers that be won't be going by the storybook this time.
On the midseason finale on Sunday, Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) was forced by his wife Belle (Emilie de Ravin) to step over Storybrooke's town line and thus into our magic-free world. Naturally, he's already devised a plan to get his previous life back, but it required allying with his former enemies, the Queens of Darkness...
Lana Parrilla, Sean Maguire
Now that the Snow Queen has counteracted the curse of Shattered Sight, Once Upon a Time is finally ready to let its Frozen story line go.
On the fairy-tale drama's midseason finale on Sunday (8/7c, ABC), we'll see one other benefit of Storybrooke returning to (relative) normalcy: Maid Marian (Christie Laing) will have thawed out after being frozen. That would normally make Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) a merry man, except for the fact that he lost his heart, figuratively, to Regina (Lana Parrilla).
Kristin Bauer van Straten
When Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten) returns to Once Upon a Time, she's going to look even more wicked!
Colin O'Donoghue and Jennifer Morrison, insert: Merrin Dungey
Merrin Dungey is everywhere, y'all.
The former Alias actress has guest-starred on everything from Shameless to Trophy Wife to Brooklyn Nine-Nine to Chasing Life in 2014. Next, she'll appear on Once Upon a Time as one of Disney's most well-known villains...
Elizabeth Lail, Georgina Haig
We've all heard the "Let It Go" jokes by now, but Frozen fever has not yet broken.
When Once Upon a Time returns for its fourth season on Sunday (8/7c, ABC), it will be the residents of Storybrooke, not Arendelle, who will fall under the icy touch of the hit Disney franchise for the first 11 episodes. Fans of the series, however, need not be worried that their favorite characters will be shunted to the side to make way for Anna and Elsa...
Kristin Bauer van Staten
Kristin Bauer van Straten will reprise her role as Maleficent on Once Upon a Time, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Yes, that did just happen.
True Blood's seventh and final season started off Sunday with quite the bloodbath as the Hep-V-infected vampires made their way to Bon Temps and attacked the BBQ, slaughtering dozens and taking others captive.
True Blood returns for its seventh and final season Sunday (9/8c, HBO) and picks up just moments after most of the townspeople of Bon Temps gathered in support of the "One Vampire-One Human" movement that paired people up in exchange for clean blood and protection. But a horde of Hep-V-infected vamps were about to close in and surely cause chaos in the little backwoods parish. Sadly, you shouldn't expect everyone to survive the inevitable clash. It is the final season, after all!
