Hope you're all well and safe and sound, especially if you're on the East Coast. My and Kirstie's thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
It's been a very hectic few weeks and we're glad we don't have a Tuesday show this week. (I hope you all voted, by the way!) We decided to just take the day off completely. We didn't have rehearsals or anything. It's gotten to the point where last week was so draining physically and mentally for Kirstie that she could barely stand. We've never taken a day off, so it's good to let her have a chance to rest.
A lot of people have been saying to us, "Well, she's already done the show. She knows what to expect. How can she be so exhausted?" Yes, she's already done it, but this season isn't a direct replica of Season 12. None of us has any idea ...
Kirstie Alley isn't one for being shy, but recently revealed something she's been keeping quiet: an affair with Patrick Swayze.
In an interview with Barbara Walters that aired on ABC Wednesday morning, Alley spoke about her new memoir, The Art of Men, which details her past relationships. In the book she says she fell in love with the late Swayze while filming the 1985 movie North and South. Alley, 61, said Swayze wanted her to divorce her than husband Parker Stevenson.
Hope you had a great week. Thanks for your votes!
We're hard at work on our dances and it's getting pretty crazy. Our team dance is very silly. I think after this, the production is going to be against giving us freestyle for a team dance. We're just doing some obscene stuff. It's just going to be funny and silly. It's all about putting smiles on people's faces.
We're all exhausted! For me, it's mental exhaustion because I'm trying to make it easier for Kirstie. For Kirstie, this is the part she forgot when she said ...
Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd
Peta Murgatroyd and Gilles Marini could barely contain their excitement last week when they found out their Team Freestyle song on Dancing with the Stars is PSY's "Gangnam Style" — so much so that they had to double-check. "I couldn't believe it," Murgatroyd tells TVGuide.com. "It was too perfect, so I had to make sure. We were thrilled, as you saw." The defending champ is also thrilled with their team, which includes boyfriend Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kirstie Alley, Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkvoskiy, and Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke, Marini's former partner. So what can we expect from their team dance and their individual rumba? Keep reading!
Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel
What was going through Sabrina Bryan's mind when she was in the bottom two last week on Dancing with the Stars? Her shocking Season 5 elimination, of course. "Oh my God! I totally thought of it. How could you not?" Bryan tells TVGuide.com. "It was gut-wrenching, I was ready to throw up. I was like, 'This is crazy right now!'" The former Cheetah Girl and her partner Louis van Amstel survived the close call, and now she's tackling the season with renewed purpose. Find out what Bryan has planned for her disco and why this season is all about her fans.
Hope you had a great week! Thanks for voting for us!
We are hard at work on the Charleston and it's going to be a good one! I know my initial reaction was like, "Aw, crap!" But when you think about it, the other option was rock 'n' roll, and the Charleston is much better for Kirstie. She's having a lot of fun with the dance.
I really enjoyed the whole dance ...
Hope you had a great week. Thanks for voting for us!
I think Kirstie did awesome. The jive is one of the hardest dances and one of her least favorites. She doesn't like the constant jumping, but she handled it very well. She embraced the things that she needed to embrace. The French thing was her idea and I think it worked.
I have no idea why we had latex gloves in the rehearsal studio. I found a closet where we keep stuff like warmup gear and medicine balls. I thought we would have an elastic band, but we ...
Joey Fatone, Kym Johnson
Joey Fatone just has one request for Week 2 of Dancing with the Stars: "Don't make me go first!"
The Season 4 alum kicked off the All-Stars season with Kym Johnson last week and does not want to be the opening act again. "I better not!" he tells TVGuide.com. "When they told me I was first, I was like, 'Oh, crap!' Then everyone says it's an honor. It's not an honor! People might forget about you and you might get voted off first. It was cool to kick off the show, but there was a lot of pressure."
The 'N Sync star is feeling good about his next dance, the quickstep, though. See what else he has to say about coming back, who he thought he might be paired with and how he's targeting Drew Lachey.
Our top moments of the week:
16. Worst Pity Party: When things get overwhelming for Blair, er, Lisa Whelchel on Survivor: Philippines, she goes to a remote part of camp and starts complaining about how she's not fitting in with her tribemates. "I've been on my own since I was 12 when I moved to California to be on The Mickey Mouse Club," she says weepily to the camera. Now that's how you make strong allies on Survivor — bring up your Disney past!

I'm back! Hope you had a great summer!
First of all, I want to say a huge congrats to Tom for his Emmy win last night for reality show host. It's so well-deserved. There is truly no one else like him in the business!
Well, tonight's the big night! It's going to be a good one. We're all excited here. I am ecstatic to be with Kirstie again. I kind of ...
