The trailer for The Job.
Bubba Brady (Patrick Flueger, The Princess Diaries , The Worlds Fastest Indian ) lives in a dying industrial town where opportunity has dried up like prairie grass. What keeps him afloat is the promise of Joy (Taryn Manning 'Hustle & Flow', '8 Mile'), Bubba's reason-for-being, a fragile former child actress. Bubba meets Jim (Ron Perlman 'Hellboy', 'City of Lost Children'), a drifter who never stays anywhere longer than 72 hours, and his luck seems to change. In exchange for Bubba's offer of a parking spot for his jalopy, Jim gives him a lead on local employment office, a tip he got from a guy whose tire he helped fix. There, the agency guy, Perriman (Joe Pantoliano 'Memento', 'The Matrix') offers him a job on the spot. But the job is not at all that it appears. Though the opportunity is real, Bubba will have to learn if he has the killer instincts to do what it requires.
Based on Bitterman's award-winning play, 'The Job' is a funny, frightening thriller, that will keep you guessing till the end.

Job lost everything: his wealth, his health, and his ten children. All swept away in one satanic storm. Reduced to a heap of flesh, ashes, and tears—rebuked by friends and jeered by strangers—righteous Job wrestled over the purpose and presence of God in the midst of unbearable pain. Originally published by Desiring God in 2008 as a 128-page hardcover book, JOB retold this ancient biblical story through the beautiful, compassionate poetry of John Piper and the stunning illustrations of Chris Koelle. Out of print shortly after its release, the story of JOB is now being reintroduced through a new adaptation of moving artwork, music, and poetry: JOB is an independently produced full-length motion graphics animated movie. Through John Piper's own gripping narration of the poem, original illustrations by Chris Koelle, music by Aaron Greene, and animation by Danny McNight, we are invited to revel in God's sovereign and surprisingly joyful purposes in allowing exquisite suffering in the lives of his saints. This story of human suffering and the sovereignty of God is artfully brought to new life as a deeply moving resource especially for those experiencing great suffering and loss.
