In Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy, a new cardiothoracic doctor comes to the hospital, and she's unlike the previous cardio gods who've held that position. Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) has a past with Owen (Kevin McKidd), which will create future problems for Owen and Cristina (Sandra Oh). Raver tells us all about the new love triangle, how long she'll be sticking around and the possibility of returning to 24 to reunite with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland)...

What's the story with new episodes of 24? — Randy
MICKEY: Are you a baseball fan, Randy? Even if you're not, you should tune in to the World Series because that's when Fox will unveil the first preview of the new season of 24, which starts in January 2010. But until then, here's a tidbit: Within the first hour of Season 8, Jack will meet his granddaughter. No word yet on whether Baby Bauer is rooting for New York or Philadelphia. (Go Phillies!)

Will Kim Raver return to 24 since ABC didn't pick up her new show? — BrightEyez
MATT: I see where you're going with this. Since Season 8 is set in New York City, you're hoping Jack and Audrey will rendezvous, Sleepless in Seattle-style, atop the Empire State Building. Well, put a pin in that dream for now. For starters, you should be with me in wanting Jack with Renee, not Audrey. Beyond that, ABC's Inside the Box pilot is undergoing retooling/technically still in play, so Raver might not exactly be available. But one Kim you can plan on returning is Jack's daughter — sources tell me Elisha Cuthbert has already filmed scenes for Day 8's first few hours.

Kim Raver, Lipstick Jungle
We've seen Kim Raver on more intense, testosterone-fueled dramas like 24 and the highly touted but short-lived The Nine, but now she's switching gears to star in the estrogen-driven dramedy Lipstick Jungle (Thursdays at 10 pm/ET, NBC) as Nico Reilly, the tough-as-nails editor in chief of "Bonfire" magazine. We caught up with Raver to discuss the new show.
TV Guide: Were you looking to do something lighter?Kim Raver: Definitely. I did Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller and I had so much fun doing comedy. This was a perfect combination of what I loved about doing 24 and The Nine and what I loved about Night at the Museum.

It was a jungle outside of Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City Thursday night a Lipstick Jungle, that is. The stars of NBC's new drama braved below-freezing temperatures as they walked the red carpet in gorgeous sleeveless dresses. But even the frigid temps weren't enough for Kim Raver to stop gushing about the city the show calls home. "Being born and raised in New York City, I love [shooting here]," she says. "It's such an energized city. When you're shooting on the street you have it all there and it's really exciting." Once Raver and costars Brooke Shields and Lindsay Price made it inside Saks, they headed up to the shoe department to mingle with other celebs like Matthew Perry, who snuck in without doing any press, and The Office's Angela Kinsey. Partygoers grooved to tunes by Paul Sevigny (yes, Chloe's brother) and sipped on some cocktails but only clear ones. The white carpet of Saks prevented anything with color from being served. But luckily the party didn't pr...
