We sure are gonna miss Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Only a handful of episodes remain of the exuberant Cartoon Network series, and clearly there's no been no slacking off in the writers' room. This week's installment, "Triumvirate of Terror" (airing Friday, October 7 at 6/5c), is a charming and lighthearted tribute to the "Big 3" of DC Comics, with Superman and Wonder Woman teaming up with the Dark Knight. The trio meets at a diner for a meal of bacon cheeseburgers, fries and shakes while discussing what items to leave in a superhero time capsule. Relax, ThunderCats fans. Panthro isn't dead. "I noticed a little bit of a rumor about that," Kevin Michael Richardson, who voices Panthro in the Cartoon Network remake, tells TVGuide.com. "Someone said that on Facebook, and I was like, 'Really?'
When ThunderCats made its triumphant return to television in July, fans were outraged that Panthro, an integral part of the original '80s-era ThunderCats team, was absent without a satisfactory explanation. In the reboot, Panthro is first reported to be killed in action. Later, a false Panthro is revealed to actually be the evil Mumm-Ra in disguise. After all of this misdirection, it's a relief to know that we'll see the real Panthro back, however briefly, on Friday's episode (8:30/7:30c on Cartoon Network).

High school, for any kid, is tough enough. But if you're half-human, half-Kaiju (a "monster" in the Godzilla genre), it's a mess. Cartoon Network's first original CGI movie, Firebreather, follows 16-year-old Duncan Rosenblatt (voiced by Jesse Head) as he deals with his unique appearance (scaly skin, pointy teeth, etc.), superhuman abilities, typical girl troubles and an estranged father the size of a skyscraper who now wants a relationship with his son.
