Oh, Grey's Anatomy, you had me at hello... and you lost me at Bailey's OCD.
I've stuck with the show that made Shonda Rhimes a household name through Izzie's (Katherine Heigl) ghost sex, the Alex/Ava saga, "Intern Fight Club," and even that god-awful musical episode. When people ask me why I'm still watching Grey's, currently limping through its 10th season, my response has always been: "I'm going down with that ship." But Season 10 has me on the verge of jumping overboard. Here are six reasons why I'm ready to give up on Grey's:
Clarke Peters and Taraji P. Henson

Question: I've decided it's time to ask you how would you like to see Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang) leave Grey's Anatomy. This might come up more often as the season nears an end in May, but I can't stop thinking about it. While I love Cristina and aspire to be as fierce as she is, I think they should kill her off, but not in a mean way — in a way that could build a great emotional arc for Kevin McKidd (Owen). I think they should have one more romp in the sack where she gets pregnant and he convinces her to keep the baby this time, only to lose Cristina during the birth! I know I sound all evil genius right now, but I think that would give Owen more issues than he can handle and I think it will bring all those close to Cristina (especially Meredith) to a level of respecting Cristina's initial decision to never have kids. Just my thoughts. I think her exit will be flawless. Shonda Rhimes is a TV goddess and I'm sure will make us all proud. — Erica
Bailey is on the brink of losing it!
For several episodes now, the Grey's Anatomy doc has been exhibiting signs of becoming OCD — and Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) is planning to get to the bottom of it. What will happen when...
Kevin McKidd and Sandra Oh
Be careful what you wish for!
Cristina (Sandra Oh) learned that the hard way during Grey's Anatomy's 200th episode, when, after she pushed Owen (Kevin McKidd) to move on, he did — with fellow doctor Emma (Shameless' Marguerite Moreau). With Oh's exit the series at the end of the season, does this really spell the beginning of the end for Cristina and Owen? TVGuide.com caught up with McKidd to get the scoop:
Jessica Capshaw, Sara Ramirez and Tessa Ferrer
For those Grey's Anatomy fans that hoped (or maybe prayed) that Callie and Arizona would find a way to get past the latter's infidelity in the Season 10 premiere, sorry, but it's going to be a tougher journey than that.
A Grey's Anatomy wedding and more scoop on Season 10
When the ABC medical drama returned, Callie (Sara Ramirez) immediately showed just how hurt she was by Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) cheating by moving out of their apartment and taking baby Sofia with her. Will the two be able to work through this? TVGuide.com turned to Capshaw and Ramirez to find out what's in store:
Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey
Patrick Dempsey is riding a unicycle. It's 10 o'clock on a Wednesday morning, and the Grey's Anatomy leading man is playfully entertaining the cast and crew between scenes at a downtown Los Angeles theater complex. Long before Dempsey stepped into Derek Shepherd's sexy scrubs, he was (hidden-talent alert!) a champion juggler and avid student of the circus arts, and it's clear as he pedals around the set clad in a black tux that he's still got serious skills. "I'm tired of being an international superstar," he cracks. "I'm running away to join the circus!"
Wedding bells will be ringing on Grey's Anatomy this season!
When the cast of the ABC medical drama celebrated its 200th episode on Saturday night, executive producer Shonda Rhimes revealed to TVGuide.com that they're planning a wedding this season. Naturally, the first guess is that April (Sarah Drew) and Matthew (Justin Bruening) will be walking down the aisle since the duo patched things up in the premiere. But will they really be the ones to get married? Get the scoop on that, new love interests, a fun return and an emotional exit...
Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo
Grey's Anatomy returns Thursday (9/8c, ABC) with a two-hour premiere that picks up just moments after the events of last season's finale, in which a super-storm ravaged the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Meredith and Derek will be celebrating the birth of baby Bailey, Callie and Arizona will be struggling with the latter's infidelity, and Cristina and Owen will once again be on the outs. But there's oh so much more that will be happening at the hospital, so you might need a quick refresher on where we left off — and a juicy tease about what comes next in Season 10:
Chandra Wilson, Sara Ramirez
Things aren't looking good at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.
The first trailer for Grey's Anatomy Season 10 is riddled with tears, explosions and — for one unlucky person — death.
Later this month, Grey's Anatomy will hit a feat seldom achieved on television when the ABC medical drama enters its 10th season as a top 10 TV show.
What started off as an interweaving tale of a group of interns struggling to stay afloat at one of America's top hospitals has evolved over nine seasons, becoming a platform for stories deconstructing the human condition, including race, sexuality and — as with any great Shondaland series — relationships. But hitting its 10th season, as well as the 200-episode mark, does raise the question of how long Grey's can continue.
