Who will Amy end up with on the Secret Life series finale -- Ricky or Ben?
In July 2008, ABC Family debuted the show, created by 7th Heaven's Brenda Hampton, to record ratings for the network. The high school soap stars newcomer Shailene Woodley as Amy Juergens, a shy incoming freshman who learns she's pregnant after losing her virginity to popular Ricky Underwood (Daren Kagasoff) at band camp before starting to date boy-next-door Ben (Ken Baumann). By the end of the season, both Ricky and Ben know the truth, remain supportive, but are fighting for Amy's affections.
Francia Raisa, Secret Life of the American Teenager
After four seasons of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Francia Raisa says her character Adrian is still hung up on Ricky Underwood (Daren Kagasoff).
"You're never really over your first love," Raisa tells TVGuide.com. "And now that he knows he's engaged and unavailable she wants him even more because she can't have him."
The Secret Life of the American Teenager star Ken Baumann promises that the second half of Season 4 will be much more uplifting than episodes past.
ABC Family announces summer premiere dates
"It'll be less intensely sad," Bauman tells TVGuide.com. "This year is more fun and the trouble feels more exciting this time around."

WARNING! The following interview contains a major spoiler about the upcoming Secret Life episodes.
Just as Ben and Adrian are ready to settle into married life and parenthood, they're going to be hit with a devastating blow — the loss of their baby. Ken Baumann, who plays Ben, says the tragedy will not only devastate the couple in The Secret Life of The American Teenager, it will change the course of every relationship in the series.
TVGuide.com spoke to the 21-year-old actor about the episode (Monday, June 6, 8/7c, ABC Family), and how he and Adrian (Francia Raisa) will cope.
For once, Richard Castle might not be the nerdiest person at a crime scene.
On Monday's Castle, Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) investigate a murder that could be out of this world. "We have a couple [crew members] on the show ... who are from The X-Files, and so in a lot of ways this was our chance to do our Castle version of an X-Files episode," creator-executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe tells TVGuide.com.

It all starts when the coroner determines that the victim died in a rare way. "We find a woman who's been killed due to explosive decompression," Marlowe says. "There are very few things that cause it, and one of those things is exposure in outer space. Of course, Castle sets off jokingly suggesting that maybe aliens were behind it."
Oddly enough, each turn in the case lends some credence to Castle's theory....
For Richard Castle, romance can be messy. Now he's about to face his daughter's love life.
On Monday's episode of Castle, at 10/9c on ABC, Castle (and viewers) will meet Alexis' first boyfriend. It turns out that the "cool dad" act is, well, an act.
"He's always telling his daughter to stretch her wings, but when she does, the reality of it is he's not prepared for it. He wants his little girl back and he's realizing more and more that she's growing up. It's very difficult for him," Nathan Fillion tells TVGuide.com. "He's not a cool dad, he's a protective dad."
Castle dream casting: Who should play Castle and Beckett in the movie?
After years of Alexis (Molly Quinn) watching over her father, new boyfriend Ashley (Secret Life of the American Teenager's Ken Baumman) will show her what she's been missing...
You know Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) is going to have a hard time with this. Besides having to assist with the occasional murder mystery, Castle is now going to have to deal with a maturing daughter entering the dating scene.
In Castle's fourth new episode of the season, titled "Punked," studious Alexis Castle (Molly Quinn) will begin dating ...
Getting married just because you're expecting a baby from a one-night stand is not exactly the best reason to say "I do." Or is it?
Last week, Ben balked at his father's suggestion to wed Adrian (Francia Raisa) on The Secret Life of the American Teenager (Monday at 8/7c on ABC Family). The teen, however, will have a change of heart on Monday's episode when the two go in for Adrian's first sonogram.
"He definitely ...
Shailene Woodley, Secret Life of the American Teenager
Monday is moving day for The Secret Life of the American Teenager's Amy Juergens, who heads to New York for a music camp — and the move comes at just the right time.
Amy's on-again, off-again boyfriend, Ben (Kenny Baumann), has gotten their friend, Adrian (Francia Raisa), pregnant following a one-night stand. Amy (Shailene Woodley) doesn't know that yet, but...
There will be life and death on the Season 2 premiere of The Secret Life of the American Teenager (Monday, 8 pm/ET, ABC Family). Someone will get pregnant (not hard to figure out who) and, as already revealed, someone else dies. "[The death] affects everybody, but I'd say it affects the youth of the show more so," Ken Baumann tells TVGuide.com. Baumann's good boy Ben has his own drama to worry about now that baby John makes four for him, Amy and Ricky. See what else Baumann has to say about the "very dramatic changes," how he prepared to play a father and which teen is the better parent.
TVGuide.com: The show's premise was built around a pregnant teen. Were you worried about heading into Season 2 now that Amy's given birth?
Baumann: I think everybody has that small concern ...
