McPike and the Lifeguard confer and decide that it's time for Vinnie to stop doing field work. No one has had the streak Vinnie has had without paying the price. Although he appreciates their concern, Vinnie is just not ready for a desk job. They do, however, manage to talk Vinnie into giving his personal life a higher priority. Vinnie agrees to visit Amber and reassess their relationship. Although she's been hurt, Amber can't deny her love for Vinnie. The next morning Amber tells Vinnie that they can't go on the same way. She wants him out of her life, and yet, she can't stand the thought of his leaving. Knowing the importance of their relationship, Vinnie agrees to see a therapist. The therapist recommends that Vinnie and Amber take a weeks vacation and refrain from having sex. watch

The Wanderers, The Del Bombers, The Wongs, The Ducky Boys, The Fordham Baldies. They all inhabited the streets of New York in the early '60s. Richard Price's ("Sea of Love," "Clockers") novel becomes a tough and realistic, yet romantic and nostalgic re-creation of the world of the gangs and their girls. An impressive movie -- and cult favorite -- from director Philip Kaufman ("Invasion of the Body Snatchers," "The Right Stuff"). Starring Ken Wahl (TV's "Wiseguy") and Karen Allen ("Raiders of the Lost Ark") and Academy Award-winner Olympia Dukakis ("Moonstruck"). watch
