Morning show co-host Kelly Ripa may be know for her super-fit bod, but turns out her calves of steel were no match for the other runners at the Regis and Kelly High Heel-a-thon that took place Wednesday in Central Park. One hundred plus women (and a few brave men) strapped on their most comfy pumps (now there's an oxymoron) and sprinted a 150-yard dash in them. The Reege didn't compete, but that must have been because he wanted to let someone else win what a guy!

TLC has joined forces with two of entertainment's powerhouses, Jennifer Lopez and Kelly Ripa, to develop new programs. Each will star in upcoming, separate series, while Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos have also inked a development deal with the 'net.Lopez's series will be a documentary-style (ahem, reality show) look into her life as she juggles being a new mom, pursuing her career and launching a new fragrance. That's a lot for anyone to tackle, but I'm confident Jenny from the block's going show us how it's done (It takes hard work, for example, to cash checks). Lopez will cocreate and coexecutive produce the show.Ripa and Consuelos will be shaping more than just one series, although they're starting with one that Ripa will host, that has not yet been named. The pair and their company, Milojo Productions, made a first-look deal for unscripted TV projects. Is J.Lo going too far with her behind-the-scenes series, or was it just a matter of time? Is Ripa poised for world domination?...

In a recent appearance as a guest host on Regis and Kelly, CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper got a bit red in the face during one of Kelly Ripas segments where she demonstrated some work out moves. All we know is that Coopers agent must have gotten a good talkin to because he was definitely not feelin' the Ripalicious thigh dancing routine that he was expected to participate in! Your take: Think Anderson was just being a poor sport about it, or would his cred have been diminished if he actually started doing those pelvic thrusts on national television?

Kelly Ripa is expected back on Live Wednesday, after falling ill during today's taping on location in the Bahamas. "She had a little stomach flu, I gather," Regis tells TV's Extra. "I thought she was pretty brave to... try to finish the show, but under the sun and everything, I guess she got a litle warm. But we're expecting her back."This is where the tabloids turn Pipa's stomach flu into a "New Baby on the Way!" headline coupled with a photo of her in a blousy T-shirt.

Live with Regis and Kelly has unveiled its plan to celebrate the morning program's 20 years on the air starting Sept. 3, and among the two-week event's special guests is no less than Reege's previous sidekick, Kathie Lee Gifford. "This will be the first time Regis, Kelly and Kathie are together on the air," executive producer Michael Gelman reminds the New York Post. "We've been waiting for the right time to have her back and this is a big event, so we're happy to have her." Gelman shrugs off talk of lingering bad blood between "Kathie Me" and the talker, saying, "We agreed on most things and disagreed on others."Also as part of the celebration, Live is teaming with Chrysler to give away one minivan a day for 20 days. (Mom Jeans not included.)
