Ellen Pompeo, Kate Burton
It's a true Throwback Thursday edition of Grey's Anatomy this week, with all kinds of new information about Ellis Grey (Kate Burton) and her relationship with Richard (James Pickens Jr.) coming to light.
How did everyone feel about all the flashbacks?
Kevin McKidd, Sara Ramirez
At the start of this week's Grey's Anatomy, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is in full needy mode, interrupting Alex (Justin Chambers) in the shower to tell him about her latest half-sister - and complimenting his junk in the process. (This scene proves that I could never be Meredith's roommate, let alone her person.) While hiding from the shower buddies, a jealous Jo (Camilla Luddington) tells Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) that she's missing Cristina. Who agrees with her?
[A quick Cristina tangent: I really applaud the way the show is handling Cristina's exit with random shout-outs and references. Nothing worse than a show that writes out a character, and their friends and loved ones adopt a policy of never speaking of them again.]
On Thursday's Grey's Anatomy, Maggie (Kelly McCreary) finally worked up the courage to tell Meredith that they're sisters. And it did not go over well.
Grey's Anatomy's newest surgeon, Dr. Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary), has been welcomed to Grey Sloan Memorial with not quite open arms on the part of her (unwitting) half-sister, Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). And the dislike is becoming mutual, as viewers saw at the end of last week's episode.
"They're like oil and water," McCreary tells TVGuide.com. "It's a little bit of a heartbreak for [Maggie] to discover that her sister is not somebody that she really wants to know, in spite of the fact that she came all this way to find out."
Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo

Answer: Plenty of drama — both at home and at work. Would you expect anything less?! The mystery behind Meredith's half-sister will soon be revealed!
Kate Burton has signed on to reprise her role as...

Grey's Anatomy may have shocked fans with another half-sister twist, but we actually should've seen it coming all along!

How will Meredith react to this new revelation, especially in the wake of Cristina (Sandra Oh) leaving? TVGuide.com sat down with showrunner Shonda Rhimes to discuss the upcoming season, including the state of Meredith and Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) marriage after her sudden decision to stay in Seattle, how Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) will change the dynamic and how Alex (Justin Chambers) becoming a board member will shake up the hospital...

16. Best Reveal: Martha's not as naïve as she looks! The Americans finally addresses the elephant in the room when Martha lovingly tells her husband that he doesn't have to hide anything from her. "I even love your toupee," she says without missing a beat. "You know about that?" Clark asks. Guess Soviet wig technology wasn't all that in...
The Fab Five has become the Tenacious Two.
Grey's Anatomy bid a fond and emotional farewell to Sandra Oh during Thursday's season finale as Cristina Yang set off for Zurich to become the hotshot cardiothoracic surgeon she was always meant to be. But it wouldn't be a true Grey's finale without at least one twist before the end. In this case...
