A fire at shopkeeper Kathleen s house leads to her being packed off to her sister's. As Kathleen had no insurance, the villagers decide to restore the house for when she returns, and start a collection. Quigley bumps into an old acquaintance, Mossy Phelan (Garrett Keogh), who lets him in on a greyhound betting scam. Quigley, true to form, cannot resist. Once the work on Kathleen s home is underway, it becomes evident that the collection has not raised enough money and what better way to get more money than a gamble on the dogs? But when the sure bet backfires, a poker tournament at Fitzgerald s with Father Peter as referee seems the only option left. watch
