Matt Lauer says he had no idea that Prince William was getting back with former flame Kate Middleton. “I wish I could tell you he called me,” he told TV Guide today. “I have no inside knowledge." Noting that when he asked William during their recent interview if the media had anything to do with the couple’s split, “That was the one time he put up a bit of a 'my personal life is my personal life,'” Lauer says if the reunited couple does happen to stop by his booth during July 1st's Concert for Diana in London’s Wembley Stadium, “I might ask a quick question — "Is it official that you’re back together?" — and then move on.
