Hollywood was stunned by the unexpected death of Glee star Cory Monteith on Saturday night. Hours earlier, Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room, though the cause of death was still unknown. Here's what his co-stars and fellow celebrities had to say about his sudden passing:
Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs
Earlier this season on 2 Broke Girls, Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) realized their dream of owning a cupcake shop. That dream quickly became a nightmare when they ran out of cash and couldn't pay the rent. The cherry on top? A car came careening through the store's front window. But in Monday's season finale (9/8c, CBS) the girls may get a second chance. That's if they're still speaking to each other.

Question: I accidentally caught the opening scene of an episode of Two and a Half Men after The Big Bang Theory. There was poor Angus T. Jones telling Jon Cryer that he "had the clap" and was happy about it. I haven't watched the show in many years; I just got tired of it. But in light of the young actor's video declaring the show to be filth, I really had to agree with him. Am I the only one that doesn't want to see a child I've watched grown up in movies and TV talking about VD for a joke? Then I started thinking about the effect nine years of being immersed in nothing but sex jokes might have on your childhood and I started to feel really sad. It's not like I'm a prude, I thoroughly enjoyed an episode of BBT featuring bikini waxing and nude revenge.
Joe Biden, Paul Ryan
Thursday's vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan generated more than 4 million tweets, according to official statistics from Twitter. And, needless to say, several of those comments came from celebrities weighing in on the election.
Here's a roundup of some of the best reactions:

Fall Preview: Get the scoop on the new and returning TV shows
Whenever CBS unveils a new fall schedule, it's like watching an impressive round of chess, as powerful pieces (of programming) are moved strategically around the board (the prime-time line-up), operating from a position of strength to shore up weak spots and holes on the schedule, proving that an aggressive offense is a great defense against stagnation and decline.
Beth Behrs has a secret. Up until a few weeks ago, she'd never baked a single cupcake. "I'm not very savvy in the kitchen," she reveals coyly. "We're around them all day, everyday [on set] and one Sunday I was learning lines for a cupcake-heavy episode and thought, 'I'm going to bake cupcakes.' But I have to admit, it was a Betty Crocker mix."
Martha Stewart is set to appear as herself in an upcoming episode of 2 Broke Girls, CBS announced Friday.

Michael Patrick King wants to make something clear: 2 Broke Girls is not a racist show. As for all the inappropriate jokes, they're just "classy-dirty," OK?
The 2 Broke Girls creator met with reporters at CBS' winter TV previews Wednesday, during which he was asked to defend the show's ethnic stereotypes and off-color humor, particularly in scenes involving the characters with whom down-on-their luck waitresses (Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs) work at a Brooklyn diner.
