The Face Host Nigel Barker: And the Winner Is ...

Previously on The Face: Let's flash back in time! You met our three supermodel coaches; queen of posing Coco Rocha, blonde bombshell Karolina Kurkova and the legendary Naomi Campbell. You saw them in action: modeling, coaching and strategizing.  Each week our coaches taught and guided the girls through their test-shoot challenges on how to pose, strut the runway, shoot a TV commercial, walk the red carpet, be a brand ambassador and more.  Along the way there were experts and celebrities in the field bestowing their Face wisdom on aspiring ladies. Coveted jobs in the industry were awarded to the team and model that the individual clients from W Magazine, Marshalls, Kleinfelds to Cosabella all personally chose.

The Face's Nigel Barker: Next Week's Finale Will Take Your Breath Away

Previously on The Face: Naomi's reaction sent Sandra on a tirade during the Christian Louboutin test shoot, inspiring our supermodel to put the rookie in her place.  In the OpenSky campaign, Team Coco tried to get Margaux to speak up, while Team Naomi attempted to win for a 4th time in a row but Team Karolina was having none of that, as they managed to break Team Naomi's winning streak. Meanwhile Margaux and Sandra were put up for elimination and Sandra's out-of-control behavior finally caught up with her.

This week on The Face we kicked off with asking our ladies the public's favorite tabloid question "What's in your bag?" for the test shoot, hosted by Karolina and US Weekly's Jennifer Peros.read more

The Face Host Nigel Barker: "Naomi Ruled Supreme in the Elimination Room"

Previously on The Face, our models went all out in Karolina's quick-change test shoot and then hit the runway in couture bridal gowns where, for some, strutting their stuff looked easier than it was.  Against all odds, Team Naomi secured their second win in a row while Team Coco said goodbye to not only one, but two of their girls.

The Face Host Nigel Barker: "Models in Glass Houses Shouldn't Throw Nasty Rocks"

Here is just a hot recap to get us up-to-speed on all the drama that lead up to last night's episode of Oxygen's The Face.  In Week 1, the aspiring models were coached by supermodel Naomi Campbell on "Who wore it better?" and posed in front of the legendary Patrick DeMarchelier for W Magazine.  Week 2 saw supermodel coach Coco Rocha spin 160 poses in a minute hoping to teach, not um, excuse me, totally tangle up, the models.  The girls' effort was for an online campaign for Vogue Eyewear, which was by followed sweet, conservative and sexy TV commercial campaign for lingerie brand Cosabella.

The Face Host Nigel Barker: "Team Naomi Started to Implode"

Our Supermodel coaches went head-to-head last week, but the tables were turned this week with our aspiring supermodels declaring all out style-wars on each other.

This week's episode of Oxygen's The Face kick started with the ultimate pose-off, coached by none other than the Queen of poses, Coco Rocha.  I mean excuse me, the girl virtually holds the world record for number of usable poses in a minute (something like a 160 - which sounds impossible but she made it happen).  The test shoot is for Vogue Eyewear and the winning model who creates the highest number of useable shots in a minute will have her photo run as an ad campaign on www.vogue-eyewear.com

The Tuesday Playlist: State of the Union, Justified Goes Footloose

Most of television does its civic duty and turns to Washington, D.C. for State of the Union coverage (9/8c), as President Obama presents his first address of his second term. (As a curtain raiser, PBS' Frontline — check tvguide.com listings — relives those fun times when the White House sparred with the opposition over the deficit, taking the nation to the brink of the "fiscal cliff" in an installment appropriately titled "Cliffhanger.")

A different sort of dog-and-pony show — emphasis on dogs as show ponies — unfolds on USA Network... read more

Thursday Playlist: Sherlock vs. "M" on Elementary, Scandalous Madness, 1600 Penn, More

"A simple moniker for a complicated monster." That's how a rattled Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) describes "M.," his nemesis from across the pond, whose bloody M.O. is on display in a New York crime scene that threatens to send the genius sleuth off the deep end into rogue vigilantism in a first-rate and pivotal episode of CBS' enjoyable Elementary (10/9c). Even an amateur Sherlock-ian knows what that "M." stands for and signifies: "The greatest puzzle you'll ever come across," taunts an adversary.
