Bachelor Pad host Chris Harrison admits he was shocked by the outcome of this week's spelling bee competition.
"I did not foresee Chris and Sarah being such a force," he tells TVGuide.com. "Ed is a well-educated man and Jaclyn is a smart woman, so I really thought they would do well."
This week's Bachelor Pad begins immediately after last week's crazy twist, and Rachel is hysterical that Michael, whom she's falling in love with, has left. Chris Harrison comes into the house to tell everyone there are now just 10 of them left and they'll be competing as couples from here on out. Nick, the odd man out, is now with heartbroken Rachel. Meanwhile, everyone is shocked that Chris is still in the game and everyone seems to want him gone.
Bachelor Pad's Kalon may be floating through the season, but on Monday's episode, it's finally time for him to play the game.
In the exclusive preview clip below, Kalon plots heavily to save himself in the game. "In order to be really efficient in this game you have to plant seeds, hang back in the shadows and let everybody else water them," he says.
If Bachelor Pad's Chris was in hot water with the women last week, this week his situation started boiling over.
After ditching his partner Blakeley to hook up with Jamie, Chris then made the ultimate switch by choosing Sarah for his one-on-one date. When they didn't come home until the next morning, the ladies got angry. Fortunately for Chris, he was safe this week and was able to get one member of his love square out of the house. But in doing so, host Chris Harrison says Chris has put a big, fat target on his back.
Read on for more of Harrison's thoughts on Chris' "stupidity," why Kalon and Lindzi's romance hasn't been featured and a shocking elimination.
This week's episode of Bachelor Pad picks up immediately after the tense rose ceremony with Ed and Jaclyn toasting their victory. But the celebrations are short-lived when Chris Harrison comes in and announces that their next challenge begins right away. The players are simply handed surveys and instructed to answer honestly.
