Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse say the atmosphere in defending their Olympic bobsled title was much more intense than in 2010. The pair edged out the U.S. to claim gold in Sochi.
Canada's Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse said on Thursday (February 20) they enjoyed having some tough competition to fight against in the bobsleigh event after retaining their Olympic gold medal in Sochi by pipping the USA-1 sled by a tenth of a second.
Bobsledder Kaillie Humphries says she and brakeman Heather Moyse have the same team dynamic as they did when they won Olympic gold in Vancouver, and the key to success for them in Sochi is to keep things simple.
Kaillie Humphries says the Sochi Olympics kept getting better for her and Heather Moyse, from defending gold in bobsled to being named flag-bearers. Humphries says sharing her success with her family was also a high point.
