[Warning: This story contains major spoilers from the season premiere of Private Practice. Read at your own risk!]
Private Practice wasted no time in doing episodes that were outside the box, as executive producer Shonda Rhimes promised.
In its season premiere, Private went full Rashomon-style, telling the same story from different perspectives, culminating in several big reveals for the doctors of Seaside Wellness. Since the ABC medical drama split the premiere by character, so will we! Find out what happened to Addison & Co, including who she chose, what happened to Pete and the big twist involving Charlotte. Plus: The cast dishes on what's next!

The cast of The Man of Your Dreams, NBC's sitcom pilot about a fella (Michael Trucco) who uses his prowess for prowling to help out relationship-challenged women, has been fleshed out. Constance Zimmer (Entourage) will play lothario Larry's single-mom sister; Christina Chang (CSI: Miami) will play a twice-divorced gold digger who "carries her shovel proudly" (says the Reporter); Ron Reaco Lee is Larry's Star Wars-obsessed protégé; and Justina Machado (Six Feet Under) will play an attractive and zaftig divorcée.Lotsa single characters on this show, yeah.

Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony winner (what, couldn't score a Cleo?) Rita Moreno will guest-star on a May episode of Ugly Betty, playing (along with Six Feet Under's Justina Machado) long-lost Suarez family members. In the same ep, Rebecca Gayheart (Vanished) plays a woman Alex dated before his (her?) faked death. I see a chance here to put Aniston-Cox to shame. In other casting news, Billy Dee Williams is on board for SOAPnet's General Hospital spin-off. See Soaps News for deets.... Jane Lynch returns to Two and a Half Men on April 23.... Joey Lawrence is a serial killer on the April 25 CSI:NY.... ER alum Sherry Stringfield defends a child abductor on Shark April 26.... As the episode's title hinted, overcoming guilt was certainly the ongoing theme tonight. The person most affected by her surrounding friends and fellow doctors was Izzie. My favorite two "Izzie influencers" were Burke and Webber. They both FTF'd her (Friends Tell Friends) first Burke told her: "You quit. You quit being a surgeon. You have two good hands and you aren't using them. Feel guilty about that." And then I thought it was quite effective when Webber, trying to make Izzie feel better about the Denny incident, told her that way back when he was an intern, he too made a fatal mistake. But he stayed and he worked and he never made that mistake again: "Every day I get to save lives." Excitingly watching Cristina do the running whip stitch on a heart was the other turning point for Izzie. If only she'd frickin' deposit that $8,700,000 check! Cute and quick George-Meredith moment by the refrigerator at the end, by the way. (If you blinked, you might've missed Meredith go to ...
