Got any scoop on the "kid from Baltimore" storyline on NCIS? — Maddie, via Twitter
ADAM: Word on the "kid" is that he's a boy Tony once saved from a fire many years ago. Unfortunately, not all of his family members made it out alive, which drove him to become an arson investigator. Look for him to be reunited with Tony when a string of fires leave the Baltimore cops stumped and in need of some federal input.

Raising Hope
Imagine a world without Hope. Hope Chance, that is, the adorable infant who somehow thrives amid the chaos of Fox's raucous but innately sweet family comedy Raising Hope (9:30/8:30c).

Virgin Diaries
Our top moments of the week:
15. Worst Christmas Surprise: Andy is only asking for trouble on The Office when he invites his new girlfriend to the Christmas party at Dunder Mifflin where, in case you forgot, his ex-girlfriend still works. And you know what he gets in his stocking? Trouble. On the advice of an equally broken-hearted Robert California, Erin gets wasted at the party and winds up in a close hug (and maybe more?) with Robert, much to Andy's chagrin. What exactly were you expecting, Nard Dog?
14. Worst Break-Taking Moment: After not sleeping with anyone other than her boyfriend Spencer in more than six years, Jess is understandably worried that she won't be adventurous enough in the sack for her new guy, Paul (the equally adorkable....

"You ask for a simple white Christmas ..." and everything goes to cartoon hell on Eureka, already the most animated of Syfy's quirky series, and a natural to be brought back for a one-night-only Christmas special, a gift for fantasy fans, packaged with similarly themed episodes of Warehouse 13 and Haven. The Eureka special (8/7c) is especially inventive, as the isolated mountain town's overtaxed Super Photon Generator interacts with a child's hologram-generating storybook, and abracadabra, everyone becomes a cartoon character (including Sheriff Carter's much-abused Jeep, cleverly and petulantly voiced by The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons).

Our top moments of the week:
15. Silence Is Golden Award: On New Girl, Jess asks Nick why he doesn't like Paul (guest star Justin Long), her fellow schoolteacher crush who's over for Thanksgiving, and he says it doesn't matter because he's not the one who has to have sex with him. Jess replies that she wants "to have sex with him big time" and "take him down to Chinatown and slice him off a piece of this pumpkin pie." Hopefully, Paul actually wants some of that pumpkin pie or else dessert is going to be really awkward...

Zooey Deschanel
A week from now, we won't be thanking Fox for ditching its Tuesday comedy lineup to make room for another displaced edition of The X Factor (which will be shifting its schedule back a day to avoid spoiling our Thanksgiving digestion with another results show).

New Girl
Fox has embraced the New Girl on their Tuesday block. The network has ordered 11 additional episodes of the hit comedy — making New Girl the first freshman series to receive a full season pick-up.
"We love the charming Zooey Deschanel and the entire cast, we're knocked out with the work that Liz Meriwether and the whole staff is doing and we are really psyched about the upcoming episodes in the pipeline," said Kevin Reilly, Fox's president of entertainment. "It's great that audiences have responded so positively so far and we're confident that...
