Is Julianne Moore Joining Desperate Housewives?!

Julianne Moore by LRRB and Co./WireImage.com

In a word, no. As cool as it would've been, reports that Julianne Moore is joining the cast of Desperate Housewives as Bree's sister are completely false. "Julianne is a very talented actress and we would be honored to have her appear on Desperate Housewives" says an ABC Studios rep. "Unfortunately at this time, there are no plans to do so."Not sure how exactly this rumor got started — particularly since, as far as I know, DH isn't even introducing a sister for Bree. Regardless, it's not happening. read more

TVGuide.com: Welcome back to soaps! We sure missed you.
Scott Bryce:
Thanks! Well, it's a recurring role, so we'll see how long I'm around. They've scheduled eight episodes for me so far, so I'll be airing into February on OLTL.

TVGuide.com: Before we get to that, Hunt Block is a fine actor, but for many ATWT fans, you're the one and only Craig. His Craig was very different from your more lovable version.

Julianne Moore Tabloid Shocker!

The New York Post's "Page Six" gossip column gets a nice plug in the new romantic comedy Laws of Attraction (opening Friday), but the film's leading lady, Julianne Moore, is questioning the scandal sheet's accuracy. The Oscar-nominated actress cites one particular story from several years back that claimed she had been taken to the hospital from the set of Far from Heaven. "It said somebody had slipped me a piece of birthday cake that had a lot of sugar in it, and that I was highly allergic to sugar," she recalls. "So, they shut down production and rushed me to the hospital, where I managed to come out of my sugar coma and was back at work the next day." Moore insists there was "zero" truth to the item. "I don't know where it came from," she says, "Anyone who knows me knows that I have quite an affiliation with sugar and no allergies at all." Still, the down-to-earth thesp admits she was "flattered" the Post devoted read more
