A lambada cash-in about a Brazilian princess who falls in love during a visit to the United States and uses her dancing ability to bring attention to the plight of the rain forests. Really!

Creepy, witty, and ultimately warm-hearted. A tale of a kidnapping gone murderously wrong, and the gentle and softspoken cop who tracks the cruel culprits through the frozen Minnesota wastelands. Masterfully executed!

Startup.com -- Traces the birth and failure of new media company govWorks.com.
As an ailing economy reduces high-flying Internet companies around the country to bankruptcy, acclaimed documentary team Chris Hegedus, D. A. Pennebaker and newcomer Jehane Noujaim take a behind-the-scenes look at the volatile start-up phenomenon, chronicling the turbulent development of govWorks.com, an award-winning Internet site that facilitates interaction between local government, citizens and businesses. Turning a familiar headline story into a high-pressure personal odyssey, Startup.com follows the trials of partners Kaleil Isaza Tuzman and Tom Herman, best friends since childhood, as they progress from being rookies with only a business plan to assuming the leadership of a nationally recognized Internet company struggling to survive an inhospitable economy.
Traces the birth and failure of new media company govWorks.com.

In Fargo, filmmaking brothers Joel and Ethan Coen both embrace and satirize their North Dakota roots. A patrolman and two innocent bystanders are discovered murdered in cold blood on a snowy North Dakota highway, leading very pregnant policewoman Marge Gunderson (Frances McDormand) on an investigation that uncovers a conspiracy of greed and ineptitude. Minneapolis husband, farther and car salesman Jerry Lundegaard (William H. Macy), who has long chafed under the thumb of his wealthy boss and father-in-law, concocts an elaborate scheme involving the kidnapping of his wife and a million-dollar ransom to pay off his extensive gambling debts. However, everything that could possibly go wrong indeed DOES go wrong. Officer Gunderson's outwardly homespun and folksy persona conceals a penetrating mind and a fierce moral compass, and she easily sees through the poorly executed and badly hidden events perpetrated by the bumbling, yet highly dangerous kidnappers (Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare). Her hilarious and arresting performance netted her an Oscar, and the Coens were also rewarded with a Best Original Screenplay award.
When a car dealer conspires with dim-bulb criminals to kidnap his wife for a hefty ransom, a folksy -- and pregnant -- police chief is on the case.
Jerry Lundegaard's inept crime falls apart due to his and his henchmen's bungling and the persistent police work of pregnant Marge Gunderson.
Two vagabond musicians (JOSE FELICIANO and JULIAN "CANNONBALL" ADDERLEY) join Caine (DAVID CARRADINE) in an unusual adventure about a search for a boyhood dream that leads to murder.
