The postal service selects Cliff to ride in the historical commemoration of the first U.S. mail delivery. The only problem is that Cliff's afraid of horses. As the gang at Cheers watches the televised event, the announcer reports that Cliff is missing. At the same time, Cliff calls from a pay phone, somewhere in the seedier part of Boston, after his horse galloped off into the night with a terrified Cliff clinging to his back. Norm goes off in search of Cliff, but before long he's also missing in action. Meanwhile, John Allen Hill (guest star Keene Curtis) halts Cheers' use of his dumpsters by padlocking them. Sam sicks Carla on Hill to extract revenge, but instead of beating up Hill, Carla sleeps with him. Then, she swears Lilith and Rebecca to silence, but the gossip spreads around Cheers like wildfire, reaching Sam last. Sam can't believe that Carla slept with his archenemy. Even more upsetting is the fact that she enjoyed it. watch
