AMC Explores Mars with New Series

There is life on Mars, but it isn't on ABC.According to The Hollywood Reporter, AMC is developing a sci-fi series based on the 1992 Kim Stanley Robinson novel Red Mars, which details the first human colony on the fourth planet."This fits in with our bigger vision of wanting series that feel like cinematic one-hour movies," Christina Wayne, AMC's senior vice president original series and miniseries, said.
