Question: What do you think of the "Uprising" arc in the second half of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s first season? I think it is miles better than the first half of this season, which was pretty so-so at times. [Spoilers ahead] The tie-in with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, with Hydra infiltrating S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Garrett being revealed as the Clairvoyant working for Hydra, were very good plot twists, along with Agent Ward being a turncoat to work for Agent Garrett and Hydra — or could Ward be going undercover for Agent Coulson to help S.H.I.E.L.D. bring down Hydra? I really hope this show gets renewed for a second season by ABC, so that it will continue to improve and be a better show that everyone can enjoy to watch! - Chris

Mellie may often be an awful person, but even villains deserve a little love sometimes.

Enter Governor Nichols (Jon Tenney), who was introduced in Scandal's midseason premiere as Fitz's new running mate now that Vice President Sally Langston (Kate Burton) is ditching the ticket to run independently. Major Crimes Creator James Duff Previews "Curve Ball"

I was supposed to post some afterthoughts about "All In,"  last Tuesday or Wednesday and, instead, I am late with my entry about this week's new episode, (which was directed by Jon Tenney, better known to our fan base as Special Agent Fritz Howard). It just goes to show you that our best intentions can suddenly be overwhelmed by the unforeseen. In my case, the surprise was sinusitis and a prescription for some fierce, energy-sapping antibiotics that have forced me to adjust my professional plans. While physically irritating, it has made me even more sympathetic to the detectives in Major Crimes, all of whom find themselves dealing with the unexpected when their holiday vacation gets derailed by a shopping trip to Venice Beach.

We begin with Flynn and Provenza ambling through one of the kookiest neighborhoods in Los Angeles... read more

Exclusive Major Crimes Video: Jon Tenney Goes Behind the Camera Again

One of the fringe benefits of Jon Tenney being loyal to The Closer and its spin-off Major Crimes for so many years? The shows have helped launch the actor's career behind the camera.

Tenney sat in the director's chair once more for Monday's episode (9/8c, TNT), which finds the squad investigating the murder of a baseball scout that turns into a complicated kidnapping case — and TVGuide.com has your exclusive first look at Tenney in action. read more

Rebecca Romijn and Jon Tenney Talk King & Maxwell Chemistry

In the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton hotel in midtown Manhattan, Rebecca Romijn is waiting for her costar, Jon Tenney, to arrive. She places a playfully brusque reminder call to his cell, then declares with a good-natured sigh, "He's probably upstairs blowing out his hair." And there you have it: The secret sauce in King & Maxwell, this summer's new procedural about two Washington, D.C.-based former Secret Service agents-turned-private eyes. The case of the week is secondary only to the playful rapport between the two leads. We sat down with the pair to investigate their spark.
