Give It Up For Greg Giraldo (Friday, 11:30/10:30c, Comedy Central)
Celebrity roasts just won't be same without him. In this affectionate tribute special profiling Greg Giraldo, the comedian who died last September at 44, Comedy Central celebrates one of its most familiar faces and voices, as comedy contemporaries including Conan O'Brien, Jon Stewart, Sarah Silverman and Colin Quinn remember a good friend and colleagues. Lots of clips from career highs — and a few lows (including the short-lived sitcom Common Law).

Top Moments: Modern Family Comes Up Short, Top Chef's Avian Rap

Modern Family

Our top moments of the week:

9. Some Things Never Change Award: On the season finale of Millionaire Matchmaker, Patti tries to find love for Stacy Kessler — a millionairess whom she threw out of her office earlier in the season. But history repeats itself when Stacy shows her date a cringe-worthy, self-made DVD about preparing for a lingerie shoot, which promptly ends the date, and her relationship with Patti -- again.

8. Scariest Stare-Down: Unsurprisingly, former heavyweight champ Patrick "Lights" Leary throws some blood-splattering punches in the Lights Out premiere. But his most threatening confrontation comes when the big bruiser silently stares down daughter Ava's secret boyfriend, "Brent from Brunswick," after the two... read more

VIDEO: Watch Ricky Gervais and Jon Stewart Digress on The Daily Show

Ricky Gervais and Jon Stewart

Ricky Gervais was supposed to talk about his upcoming HBO stand-up special, Out of England 2, during his appearance on The Daily Show. But between the British comic's chemistry with Jon Stewart and Gervais' blasé attitude toward promoting his own show, their conversation covered different, wider terrain.

During their seven-minute conversation Tuesday, Gervais and Stewart discussed the possibility of a Stephen Hawking talk show. "I was just imagining also how... read more

Roush Review: Fooling With Yule on Community

Community

How powerful is TV's Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, 46 years after its first airing? A week ago Tuesday, CBS' annual telecast clobbered the equally classic animated treasure How the Grinch Stole Christmas on ABC when they went head to head. Since then, The Daily Show's Jon Stewart put his voice over the Burl Ives snowman/narrator as part of a hilarious holiday-animation takedown of Fox News Channel's yearly "War on Christmas" hysteria. ("The season wouldn't feel the same without people going out of their way to be offended by nothing.") Glee kicked off its frenetically sentimental Christmas episode this week with a rendition of "The Island of Misfit Toys" (how appropriate). And now the entire cast of NBC's Community looks like they stepped off of Hermie's assembly line in Santa's workshop.

As you may have heard, this week's episode of Community, "Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas," is done completely in stop-motion animation, the style immortalized in those enduring Rankin/Bass Christmas-TV chestnuts... read more

The Biz: Fox & Friends Gets the Last Laugh

Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson and Brian Kilmeade

Every day, 1.2 million viewers are waking up with Fox News' Fox & Friends, an audience that towers over other cable-news morning shows. But the breezy style of the three coanchors — Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson and Brian Kilmeade — has also made the program fodder for the likes of Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart and The Soup's Joel McHale. TV Guide Magazine talked to the trio to find out if they're in on the joke.
