In this critically acclaimed movie, John Lithgow and Mary Beth Hurt star as the anguished parents of a severely premature infant. Everything seems to be perfect in Wendy (Mary Beth Hurt) and Neil's (John Lithgow) life. They have a new house and a baby on the way, but one night Wendy is rushed to hospital and doctors are forced to deliver her baby prematurely.
