John Stossel told Bill O'Reilly Tuesday night that now that he's a Fox employee, he's finding himself under a new level of scrutiny."I make speeches, I make about 25 a year, I've done that for years," Stossel said. "And suddenly, now that I'm at Fox, critics are leaping to attack me, according to the New York Times."Stossel is referring to the controversy surrounding his address last week before Americans for Prosperity, a conservative advocacy group, which Brian Stelter wrote about in the NYT last week."When I worked for ABC two months ago, I also made three speeches for this group but the Times didn't write a word about that," Stossel said. Radio host Bill Press called Glenn Beck a "ticking time bomb" that will explode in Fox News chief Roger Ailes' face.Appearing on the "Reliable Sources" hour of CNN's "State of the Union with John King," Press told host Howard Kurtz that Beck's recent comment about Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) is indicative of future comments to come. "I have to tell you, look, I'm a talk show host, I am totally for talk show hosts almost getting away with almost anything they say, on the radio particularly," Press said. "But I'm amazed at how much FOX lets Glenn Beck get away with.
