Larry Delong (Randolph Scott) -- a shotgun rider on a stagecoach -- learns of a robbery plan spearheaded by Dan Marady (James Millican), who killed Delong's sister and nephew years earlier. But when Delong tries to warn the townsfolk, they suspect he's a member of Marady's gang. Our square-jawed hero must clear his name and get revenge at the same time in this modest Western drama in the vein of High Noon.
