Kim Raver

In Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy, a new cardiothoracic doctor comes to the hospital, and she's unlike the previous cardio gods who've held that position. Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) has a past with Owen (Kevin McKidd), which will create future problems for Owen and Cristina (Sandra Oh). Raver tells us all about the new love triangle, how long she'll be sticking around and the possibility of returning to 24 to reunite with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland)...

Grey's Anatomy: Where Were We and What's Next?

Grey's Anatomy

When Season 6 of Grey's Anatomy premieres (Thursday, 9/8c, ABC), George and Izzie are both on death's door. While it's not exactly a secret who lives and who dies, we thought you might need a quick refresher on where we left off — and a juicy tease about what comes next.

Meredith Grey

Where Were We? Mer had an impromptu Post-It Note "wedding" to Derek, the "honeymoon" for which was interrupted by the discovery that the mangled John Doe was George.

T.R. Knight, Jessica Capshaw and Katherine Heigl

With the Grey's Anatomy writing staff due back to work next week, hard decisions are starting to be made about who will and won't be walking the halls of Seattle Grace this fall. And thus far, we have at least one "casualty."

Knight's exit, unconfirmed by either ABC or his personal rep, suggests that George will ... read more

A Whodunit With a Funny Bone

Seeley Booth is a slut. There, I've said it. And so might you after this week's episode of Fox's Bones (Wednesdays at 8 pm/ET), one of the most enjoyable episodes yet this season on one of TV's more underrated procedurals. There is no justifiable reason why this show isn't doing better on Wednesdays, in one of the most undernourished time periods of the week. (The competition tonight includes three reality shows and CBS's plodding headscratcher Jericho, which follows last week's mega-hyped and well-sampled premiere with a ludicrous second episode in which Skeet Ulrich once again saves the day as ominous rain clouds threatening radioactive fallout loom on the horizon. Not exactly "there's no place like home" material.)Back to Bones, which most weeks manages the neat trick of delivering a grisly puzzle amid clever character intrigue laced with comedy involving FBI stud Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and the science-geek "squints" led by the formidable Bones (Emily Deschanel). This week,... read more

Bones' Booth Gets His Sexy On

David Boreanaz, Bones

Since the very first episode of Bones, audiences have been enthralled with Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and their will-they-or-won't-they relationship. TVGuide.com got a chance to talk to Boreanaz about what's in store romantically for his character this year (the short answer: a lot!), and what he did on his summer vacation. TVGuide.com: How'd you spend your hiatus?David Boreanaz: It was kind of short, since we finished later than normal and started back on production in June. I went home to Philadelphia, then went to Mexico to kind of dissolve myself with read more

Bones: A Sneak Peek at Season 2

Bones' David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel

When TVGuide.com caught up with David Boreanaz at last year's Comic-Con, he had just shot the pilot for the Fox series Bones and was scheduled to film the next batch of episodes as soon as he got back to L.A. At that point, no one had any idea how the show would fare in the ratings. What a difference a year makes. Returning to San Diego a few weeks ago, the former angsty vampire was all smiles, secure in the knowledge that his character, FBI agent Seeley Booth, would be solving forensic crimes opposite Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) for another season. After appearing at a Bones panel disc read more

Breaking Bones Scoop!

I'm hopping on a plane to Los Angeles in just a few hours — my first Press Tour Diary will appear right here Saturday night! — but before I do, I wanted to post this scooptastic interview I just conducted with Bones executive producer Hart Hanson. There are loads of juicy nuggets about the new season, including new details about Booth and Brennan's new boss, Dr. Camille Saroyan (played by Tamara Taylor), and major news about which Practice star is coming on to play the mother of Booth's child. (Hint: it's not Camryn Manheim!)Ausiello: Explain why you're bringing in a new boss for Booth and Brennan.Hart Hanson: A couple of reasons. The first one is to increase ways to bring stories into the lab. She's a coroner/pathologist. Very often we have to see DNA results come from somewhere else or hear about results from someone's decomposed liver or something. This way, we can actually be there for it. On the character side, she's Brennan's superior, and has a completely different ... read more
