Top Moments: The Office's Barf-o-rama, Paris Hilton's Topless Cameo and More!

Pam Beesly and Paris Hilton

Let's face it: TV this week was pretty disgusting. On Heroes, Sylar crawled out of his grave and back from the dead — a development that made us disgusted with the show's writers. A sense of moral outrage accompanied the news that Chase killed an African dictator on House. Paris Hilton made us feel shame for liking her, and then got graphically beheaded on Supernatural. The Office elevated a pregnancy cliché — morning sickness — to high comedy art. South Park made us rethink Mexican cuisine. And Madonna and Lady Gaga made a gross display of themselves on SNL. Welcome to this week's Top Moments: Profound Disgust Edition.

Seinfeld Teams Up With Bill Gates for Microsoft Ad

If there's anyone in this world who could afford to hire Jerry Seinfeld to help promote its products, it's Microsoft. For its new $300 million campaign, which aired during NFL's first regular season game Thursday night, the 90 second spot featured Seinfeld, Bill Gates, shoe shopping and a churro. Though we have to admit the commercial was a bit odd (to say the least), it definitely was a bit of a surprise to see the computer guru shake his money-maker at the end. read more

Jerry Seinfeld Unhurt in Car Accident

Jerry Seinfeld by Kevin Mazur/ WireImage.com

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld escaped serious injury after the brakes on one of his classic cars gave out and the car rolled over. He was driving his 1967 Fiat BTM along a road in East Hampton, Long Island, when police say the brakes failed, as did the car’s emergency brake.Seinfeld, 53, who was driving alone, then swerved to avoid an intersection when the car flipped over yards away from the highway. Police attributed the wreck to mechanical failure.Ever the comic, Seinfeld joked about the incident, but promised to drive more safely."Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do," Seinfeld said. "It is not something I plan to make a habit of."He did not require medical attention. — J.R. Whalen read more

New NBC Seinfeld Show Really About Nothing

Jerry Seinfeld by Anita Bugge/WireImage.com

That is, much ado about nothing. On Friday, PageSix.com enthusiastically trumpeted Jerry Seinfeld's return to TV with a new NBC sitcom described as "Curb Your Enthusiasm, but with Jerry instead of Larry [David]." Which, let's face it, sounds like the worst idea ever, if only for its lack of originality. But fear not, defenders of David, for he shall remain the master of his creative domain. Because it turns out the Seinfeld rumors just flat out aren't true, as both NBC and Seinfeld very quickly came forward to put the kibosh on the story. Yadda yadda yadda.... — Mickey O'Connor read more
