Jennifer Love Hewitt
Jennifer Love Hewitt has said it before, and she's saying it again: Drop the Cheryl Burke body talk.
The Ghost Whisperer star is reaffirming her defense of Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke, who's been getting flak this season for supposed flab (we haven't noticed). During a Wednesday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Love Hewitt didn't mince words on the topic.
"It's really insensitive. It's really unnecessary," she said....
Ross McCall in Crash
Inspired by the Academy Award-winning (if somewhat controversial) Best Picture of 2006, Crash hits the smaller screen Friday at 10 pm/ET, on the Starz Entertainment cable channel. Headlined by film vet Dennis Hopper and peppered with salty language, racy moments and racial tension, the TV adaptation, like its inspiration, looks at the way disparate lives intersect in the melting pot that is Los Angeles.
Ross McCall, the lucky Scot who soon will get to call Jennifer Love Hewitt his wife and in Crash plays a rule-bending street cop, gave us a peek at the new series. Plus: What he finds sexy about the Sexiest Woman on TV.
TVGuide.com: This is the first original drama series produced by Starz. What about this project made you not anxious about precisely that?
Ross McCall: I worked for HBO a couple of years ago [on Band of Brothers], and shows like The Sopranos had made HBO into a booming place. So when Starz and Lionsgate decided to do their first original series, I really wanted to be a part of something that ...

Its been quite a year for Jennifer Love Hewitt Once just the mild-mannered if gorgeous star of CBS high-rated Ghost Whisperer the actress was thrust into an unexpected spotlight last winter then led a long-overdue scrutinization of the entertainment industrys unreal ideal when it comes to body image TVGuidecom welcomed the chance to speak with Love about yes Melindas especially tricky travels ahead but also the message she is adamant to keep spreading about being comfortable in ones own skin Matt Webb Mitovich TVGuidecom As I watched Ghost Whisperers season premiere airing Friday at 8 pmET the irony was not lost on me that it revolved around arson when the Universal Studios lot where your show films was damaged by fire over the summerJennifer Love Hewitt I know That was a total coincidence In fact the fire happened just as they were getting ready to send out the script for that episode which freaked us all out a bit Isnt our first epi
Jennifer Love Hewitt in Ghost Whisperer by Vivian Zink/ABC Studios/CBS
The following concerns what purports to be a major twist to come during the fourth season of CBS' Ghost Whisperer. If you wish to emerge unspoiled, turn away now. Jennifer Love Hewitt, speaking out for the first time since a possible Ghost Whisperer plot point found its way onto the Internet (by way of EW's Ausiello), has these three words of advice for shocked fans: Wait and see. Declining to confirm reports that Melinda's husband, Jim, will himself give up the ghost early in the new season, Love instead tells TVGuide.com, "The important thing to always remember is that things are not as they seem on our show. We never do anything cut-and-dry. There are lots of opportunities for people to think that one thing is going to happen, and it actually turns out to be something else."Will the Whisperer's better half merely cheat death? Maybe flatline for a bit, visit with Denny, and then come back? Or will he outright die, but stick around as a ghost deserving of extra-special whispering? ...

Jennifer Love Hewitt is proudly showing off her body again but this time there's less to love. The actress has shed 18 lbs. off her petite frame in 10 weeks, she told Us Weekly, and is feeling "great.""I am in a pretty good workout regimen that I like, so it inspired me to keep it up," the 29-year-old said. The news comes nine months after Hewitt blasted bloggers for criticizing her voluptuous bikini-clad body. But the Ghost Whisperer star who was named Sexiest Woman on TV by TV Guide insists those cruel remarks were not the impetus for her to trim down the pounds. "She told me, 'They said some rude, mean things, but that's not why I wanted to change,'" her trainer Stevie Sant'Angelo said. "She wanted to start moving around because she thought it would make her feel better." Joyce Eng
