  • Made her Broadway debut at age 4 in 1973 in A Streetcar Named Desire, which starred her mother, actress Rosemary Harris.
  • Attended more than 18 schools while growing up due to the career demands of her mother.
  • As a teen, she applied to attend Interlochen Arts Academy thinking that it was in upstate New  York and that she'd be able to sneak out and go clubbing in New York City. In fact, the school is located in upstate Michigan.

  • Shot the pilot of Game of Thrones (playing Catelyn Stark), but decided to leave after HBO picked up the series in order to spend more time with her infant daughter.
