Executive-produced by Kyra Sedgwick, the drama stars Jennifer Beals as Dr. Kathryn Russo, a brilliant surgeon who begins investigating supernatural phenomena including resurrections, out-of-body experiences, and hauntings. In her personal life, Russo is grappling with the loss of her teenage son and trying to salvage her strained relationship with her daughter.
