Jenni "JWoww" Farley; Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi
Filming has hit a snag on the third season of MTV's Jersey Shore spin-off Snooki & JWoww, thanks to the wrath of some residents who don't appreciate having the reality show in their neighborhood.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Gov. Chris Christie
Two of New Jersey's finest appear to still be at odds — even when they're coming together for a good cause.
While filming Superstorm Sandy segments Friday for Today on location in Seaside Heights, N.J., Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Gov. Chris Christie met backstage, along with Snooki's Snooki & JWoww costar Jenni Farley. And we have their awkward exchange on video!
One Life to Live is getting crazy, folks.
With Lindsay Lohan starting a 90-day stint in rehab on Thursday, we're hoping that once she gets out in August, she can keep herself busy and gainfully employed with a return to TV.
Lohan's last TV appearance on pal Charlie Sheen's Anger Management in April was a modest success. She played a caricature of her public persona -- named Lindsay, of course -- who consults Charlie (Sheen) for anger counseling, complete with shtick references to her notorious personal life, including drugs (donut powder mistaken for cocaine) and court dates. Despite receiving a mixed chorus of jeers, the Anger Management gig got this endorsement from Newsday: "There was an ember of something that seemed totally lost in all the coverage, headlines and nonsense of the last few years: Lohan actually has some talent."
When One Life to Live returns, it'll come with a new feel to say the least.
Prospect Park and The Online Network, which are resurrecting both One Life to Live and All My Children online, have partnered with Snoop Lion (formerly know as Snoop Dogg) for a new theme song for One Life to Live.
Jenni “JWoww” Farley
Jenni "JWOWW" Farley is moving from the Jersey Shore to Llanview! JWOWW has landed a recurring role on One Life to Live, which will relaunch online on Monday, April 29.
JWOWW will play...
Roger Mathews and Jenni "JWoww" Farley
Wedding bells are ringing for Snooki & JWOWW's Jenni "JWoww" Farley. The Jersey Shore alum announced her engagement last year, but fans will finally see how it all went down on Tuesday's episode (10/9c, MTV). Staying true to her wild ways, Farley had an engagement day that was anything but ordinary. Culminating in a surprise skydiving trip, the bride-to-be didn't know what to expect. "I was a nervous wreck," Farley says of fiancé Roger Mathews' unconventional proposal. "I land and I'm screaming."
Showtime's competitive juices aren't limited to the arena of scripted entertainment. Now the pay cable network is challenging HBO's Real Sports franchise by turning to masters of long-form narrative with the launch of 60 Minutes Sports (10/9c). Among the segments in Wednesday's premiere: a closer-up profile by Bob Simon of FC Barcelona soccer star Lionel Messi, whose prowess at 25 was demonstrated in last Sunday's 60 Minutes piece on the Barcelona team.
Jenni "JWoww" Farley
Jennifer Farley is one busy lady! Better known as JWoww, the Jersey Shore alum is diving her way into another reality show — literally. If you didn't get enough of Snooki's sidekick in Tuesday's Snooki & JWOWW season premiere, you can take the plunge with her in Fox's two-hour special Stars in Danger: The High Dive on Wednesday at 8/7c.
"I'm scared of heights and I'm scared of...
Snooki and JWoww
Audiences fist-pumped farewell to Jersey Shore at the end of 2012, but MTV is greeting 2013 the guidette way on Tuesday with the Season 2 premiere of Snooki & JWOWW (10/9c). With a new baby and an engagement, respectively, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley have grown up since leaving the Shore. But the ladies ensure us that motherhood and a fiancé haven't completely altered their antics — and the cameras are there to prove it.
