Another Wednesday, another delightful episode.Poor Ned. It looks like hes gone through most of his life being lonely. After he discovered his "gift," he kind of lost touch with people. Sensing something is amiss with Ned, Digby sets off to find him, but he somehow knows he and Ned arent allowed to touch. The only reason Im willing to go along with this little leap in logic is because this show is a fantasy. Well, thats not the only reason. I dont really have a problem with Digby being an extremely smart doggie who is able to infer "the rules" of Neds gift, but I did think wed get a little more on how Digbys managed to stay so youthful all these years. I know quite a few of you had questions about that as well.OK, thats my only quibble. Ned, Chuck and Emerson go to investigate a plane crash after Emerson smells some money in the suspicious circumstances. In the apartment, Chuck and Ned have a near-miss touching incident that leads...

Episode Recap: "Kindred"I always doubted Candaces death. In the season finale, she was lying on the floor defeated and lifeless, but it didnt make sense. If she had died, her body would have changed to its original physical appearance. From the remarks she made about her weight and eating habits, I knew she wasnt the thin, pretty brunette from last season or the tall redhead from this episode. Sylar proved my theory correct: she was an older, overweight woman. We know this, because and please, stop reading if you havent watched the episode yet he killed her.Sylar returned and hes weak. Why cant he use his powers? Has he simply forgotten how, or are his injuries so severe that his body cant handle it? I think it has something to do with the Company. The Company has something to do with everything.Monhinders new workspace is Isaacs old apartment. Nice move NBC, you saved money and time on settings and ba...

Episode Recap: "Lizards" Warning. This is your SPOILER ALERT! If you have not watched this weeks episode, please do not read this blog/recap until you do . . . Leapin' regenerating lizards! I jumped out of my seat at the end of the show and did a happy dance. This episode was all about the heroes we know, love and have missed! We knew Peter survived. We also knew he got a haircut and lost his memory. Does the box really hold his past? Im glad to see he still has all of his powers. When Caitlin was washing off his blood, I thought, Why hasnt he healed yet? And then: ta-da! The blood was gone and no marks remained. I was surprised to see that Mr. Nakamuras death made California news. Did that shock anyone else? I know the guy was a big time CEO in Japan, but he was murdered in New York and I dont see why his death was front page news in Cali (maybe because the west coast is closer to Japan?) but Im glad it did, because ...

I'm not the official TV Guide blogger for Moonlight, but I just wanted to start off tonight's Ghost Whisperer post by saying how much I enjoyed watching both shows back-to-back. Ghost Whisperer + Moonlight = Freaky Friday on CBS, and I think they're a perfect supernatural fit. Now then, on with the show!Welcome to The Underneath? At (last) season's end, I felt that Melinda's return from death would alter her connection to the afterlife, making it more malevolent than she's prepared to deal with. Now, at (this) season's beginning, my initial feelings concerning the crossroads on which Mel stands, is that Grandview is turning into a similar place to Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Hellmouth. Not quite as... Hellmouth-y, but the similarities between "the underneath" getting ready to burst at any time in Grandview, and Sunnydale's Hellmouth hurling all varieties of demons and vampires from underground can't be denied. The difference seems to be that Grandview may be a kinder, gentler wellspri...

The latest pilot-casting bits, from our friends at Variety and the Hollywood Reporter: Crossing Jordan's Jerry O'Connell, along with Fred Goss (Sons & Daughters) and stand-up comic Jerry Minor, are among ABC's Carpoolers. Scott Wolf (The Nine Party of Five) has landed the lead in an untitled ABC comedy about a top law firm. Two-time Six Feet Under Emmy nominee Lauren Ambrose has been cast as Parker Posey's younger sister in Amy Sherman-Palladino's The Return of Jezebel James. "Varsity Blues: The Later Years"? James Van Der Beek is a rookie in ABC's Football Wives. Hey, Dean Wormer, get a load of this: Tim Matheson is the head of the university in Barnes, the CW's dramedy about crime-solving college students. OK, this time I got it right: Jayma Mays, aka Heroes' ill-fated waitress, has come on board the ABC workplace comedy Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office. Josh Hopkins (pre-Rob Lowe Brothers & Sisters) and Molly Parker (Deadwoo...
