How I Met Your Mother
How I Met Your Mother returns Monday with three weeks of new episodes and they're all bound to be doozies. Why? Remember when Victoria (Ashley Williams) told Ted (Josh Radnor) that living with Robin (Cobie Smulders), aka his ex, was complicating his search for The One? And remember when Ted saw Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) cleaning up the rose petals in Robin's room and kept it to himself? They're both going to come up the next few weeks. "The month of February will answer a lot of questions and sort of resolve a lot of things that have been simmering on the surface," Mother boss Carter Bay says. So what else can we expect? Oh, baby! They are two of TV's most anticipated occasions — the births of Booth and Brennan's daughter on Bones and Marshall and Lily's son on How I Met Your Mother. I talked to the expectant parents at the People's Choice Awards to get the scoop on both blessed events.

How I Met Your Mother
When will How I Met Your Mother end? There's one important question that has to be answered first: "We have to see if the Mayans were right first," Jason Segel joked to reporters Wednesday at CBS' winter TV preview.
Asked if the long-running comedy — currently in its seventh season and renewed for an eighth — has an end date, co-creator and executive producer Carter Bays said, "it's not a high priority" for the series. "I would imagine going...

Cobie Smulders
Be warned, How I Met Your Mother fans: You may want to have some Kleenex nearby for Monday's episode. "I think it's fair to say that the episode is different than anyone had imagined coming into it," co-creator/co-executive producer Craig Thomas tells TVGuide.com. "It's one of those where while we're shooting it and editing it that you see people tearing up. It's very funny, but it's very emotional too. The very end of the episode seems like it's made a lot of people cry, but it's a good cry." The episode picks up moments after Robin (Cobie Smulders) told Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) that she's pregnant and it is chock-full of more surprises, Thomas says — including, as the logline teases, some "bad news" for Robin. What could that be? Read on to see Thomas' hints about this revelation, why he and Carter Bays wrote the pregnancy, and what's next for the rest of the season.
