First acting experience was starring in a third-grade production of Hansel & Gretel.
After high school, he toured with the Montana Shakespeare in the Park theatre group.
Made his TV debut in a 2003 episode of the sketch-comedy series Mad TV.
First big-screen outing was in 2004's National Treasure.
Best known for his role as the title character's older brother, Jackson, in the popular Disney Channel series Hannah Montana.
Has four siblings: two older brothers, a younger brother and a sister.
