DVD Review: Curb Your Enthusiasm Complete Seventh Season

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 7 DVD

A funny thing happened on the way to the latest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry David's acerbic, exploration of a faux Larry David's post-Seinfeld life was just as funny as the first six seasons, but my TV-watching posture changed while watching season seven. From a rolled up in a ball bear-attack crouch as ...

Jeers: Seems Like Old Times?

Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Jason Alexander by Monty Brinton/CBS

Jeers to The New Adventures of Old Christine for blowing a Seinfeld reunion. It was great to see Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Jason Alexander together again — but if you blinked, you could've missed it. The ex-costars had only two brief scenes together, at the beginning and end of the CBS sitcom's third-season finale. Couldn't they have written a better (or at least bigger) role for Alexander than Louis-Dreyfus' gynecologist? I hate to say it, but this bit of stunt-casting was much ado about nothing. • For more Cheers & Jeers, check out the new vodcast.• Share your own raves and rants about other shows on the Reader Cheers & Jeers discussion board.• We may feature your Cheer or Jeer on TVGuide.com or in TV Guide magazine! read more
