The Vampire Diaries Season 4 premiere left off with an explosive ending — literally — leaving us with quite a few questions heading into next week's episode.

"Ghost World" couldn't have been a more appropriate title for this week's episode of The Vampire Diaries, as some beloved -- and now dead -- characters like Mason, Grams, Lexi and Pearl made their return.
Damon wakes up chained to a chair and although he first thinks it was Stefan's doing, he soon finds out it's Mason Lockwood (aka the gorgeous Taylor Kinney) back to torture him. So how has he reappeared? Damon wonders also and yells at Bonnie, "When I kill someone they're supposed to stay dead. Fix it."
