Awww, hell no. You do not hurt Astrid. Uh huh. We gon' be in a fight unless y'all fix this fast.
If you missed the first half of Fringe's season finale last Friday night, you missed A) a thrilling hour, and B) a really upsetting twist. While trying to escape a warehouse filled with God knows what, Astrid The Beloved and Walter the Best ran afoul of some gun-toting goons who were actually doing the bidding of bad, bad William Bell, and Agent Farnsworth took what looked like a pretty damn fatal bullet. Yeah, seeing Leonard Nimoy again was a thrill (although his return, set up in the 2036-set "Letters of Transit," was spoiled by the opening credits), but having him back is not worth losing Astrid.

Finally, after four seasons of Fringe, Astrid is stepping into the spotlight when the Astrids from both universes come together.
Early in Fringe's run, Astrid's conspicuously minimal dialogue became the topic of many a wager -- with fans betting how many lines she'd have in an episode -- and even spawned a drinking game in which viewers would take a drink every time Astrid was in a scene, but never spoke a word.
"It's a great drinking game," portrayer Jasika Nicole jokes, but cautions that her juicy story line in Friday's episode won't be offering opportunities for audience inebriation. "You are going to be so sober by the end of [Friday's] episode, you might even be disappointed."
TVGuide.com caught up with Nicole to find out what's in store for the Astrids' meeting, the David Robert Jones (Jared Harris) showdown and Peter's timeline troubles...

Is there a chance that Lexie and Mark will reunite on Grey's Anatomy? —Jessica
NATALIE: Mark still clearly cares about Lexie, which won't go unnoticed by Jackson's mother (Debbie Allen), who makes an appearance in this week Grey's. "Jackson is dealing with that in a mature way, being aware of it, but not being obsessed with it," Jesse Williams says. "Jackson is learning that he can't control everything." Still, "Mark is doing a fairly admirable job about staying in his place. He really cares a lot about Jackson as a student and a surgeon."

When are Rachel and Finn getting back together on Glee? — Harper
NATALIE: You'll be waiting a while on that one. "We are broken up," Lea Michele says with finality. "We're bringing Rachel back to Season 1 a little bit with the yearning for Finn." So look for more of Rachel trying to get back together with Finn every now and then. And also lots of Michele's crying face.
What else can you tell me about the Bones sniper episode? I want to see it already! — Justin
ADAM: Why don't I let David Boreanaz, who also directed the pivotal episode, tell you? "It will definitely be the finale of the Gravedigger," he confirms. But it sounds like the Gravedigger (aka U.S. Attorney Heather Taffet) has one final trick up her sleeve, as Boreanaz hinted at...

Fringe
Fringe moving to Friday may seem earth shattering to some of its fans, but at FOX's TCA party on January 11, Lance Reddick and Jasika Nicole previewed future plot lines that will literally put the Fringe division on shaky ground.
"The degradation of the physical universe that is happening in the alternate universe is going to start happening on the primary side," says Reddick. Adds Nicole, "It's no longer about ...

Any Grey's Anatomy scoop on Meredith? — AJ
NATALIE: The Feb. 10 episode, which is titled "Golden Hour," will follow Meredith for a real-time 60 minutes as she runs the E.R. "Golden hour" is medical jargon for the crucial first hour after a trauma, and how it can often be the difference between life and death, so don't expect "Golden" to be rosy.

For the Fringe team, meeting their alternate selves in the series' second season finale was only the beginning. The tug-of-war between this world and the other world will be even further explored as Season 3 deals with the themes of duality, duplicity and the road not taken. "We want to see how our universe would have evolved had different choices been made along the way," executive producer J.H. Wyman said at the series' Comic-Con panel Saturday. "People are really interested in possibilities and choices that you've made or could have made that would take your life in a very different direction." So now that viewers will be spending more time in the alternate universe, we thought we'd make a handy guide to navigating that world with clues and teases from the cast.

Will Kim Raver return to 24 since ABC didn't pick up her new show? — BrightEyez
MATT: I see where you're going with this. Since Season 8 is set in New York City, you're hoping Jack and Audrey will rendezvous, Sleepless in Seattle-style, atop the Empire State Building. Well, put a pin in that dream for now. For starters, you should be with me in wanting Jack with Renee, not Audrey. Beyond that, ABC's Inside the Box pilot is undergoing retooling/technically still in play, so Raver might not exactly be available. But one Kim you can plan on returning is Jack's daughter — sources tell me Elisha Cuthbert has already filmed scenes for Day 8's first few hours.

Jasika Nicole
When Jasika Nicole auditioned for J.J. Abrams' Fringe (Tuesdays, 9 pm/ET, Fox), she was told it was for a sci-fi series that incorporated humor. As FBI Special Agent Astrid Farnsworth, though, Nicole isn't exactly given a lot of the punchlines, saddled as she is with doing a lot of the heavy lifting in the laboratory of mad scientist Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble). With a background in music theater and a talent for drawing (check out her work, including an autobiographical comic, on her website), Jasika (it's pronounced Jah-SEEK-uh) talks to us about working with John Noble, why Astrid returned to the lab and her theory about the identity of the elusive William Bell.
