"Oh Crap!" Jonathan Roberts, Marie Osmond by Carol Kaelson/ABC
Well, I think it's safe to say tonight got off to a rocky start. After delivering a decent samba, Marie Osmond passed out right on the ballroom floor! Longest. Commerical Break. Ever. I could be mistaken, but I thought I heard a few laughs from the audience at first, who must have thought she was joking around. But they quickly fell silent when Tom Bergeron went to break. During the commercial, I got so worried. I started to wonder what would happen if something went seriously wrong with her. Visions of heart attacks, strokes and aneurysms went through my head. Would the show really go on? Thankfully, she just became winded, and despite some embarrassment she's going to be fine. What a trooper! But Samantha Harris had it right; fainting was not going to get her a 10. This dance garnered Marie her lowest score yet.How great was Jane Seymour? When her dance started, I got a good view of the back of her dress, or lack thereof. What a body on her! I was amazed a woman 29 years my senior...

James Keach and Jane Seymour by Eric Charbonneau/WireImage.com
Among the tens of thousands whose homes lie in the path of the two-day blaze which has been incinerating Southern California, Jane Seymour is worrying about the fate of her own house. "My husband [James Keach] only just this [Monday] morning evacuated the children," she told TVGuide.com from a hotel, "but he insiated on staying. He said the winds were turning in our direction, so he was going to protect the house." But how? "The last time there was a fire [in October 2003], James actually fought it and saved the bluff using [swimming pool pumps and hoses] that I had laughed at when he installed it. Since then, he has put in even more equipment. I just hope that if he does fight this crazy thing, he'll find another large male to help him with the hose."Of course, Seymour's new anxiety comes just weeks after she lost her mother and as she continues with the Dancing with the Stars competition. "As they say, 'the show must go on,'" she sighs. "But I'm wondering how many challenges I nee...

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Cameron! Cameron Mathison, Edyta Sliwinska by Carol Kaelson/ABC
Episode Recap: "Week Four"Did the foot touch the floor? Who cares! I love the lift. Carrie Ann was digging her grave with the audience by calling out Jane Seymour, Jennie Garth and company. I consider a lift to be something over the shoulder... like Dirty Dancing! Let the people lift, I say. Here is my main problem with the show: of the two dances each performance night, one is always more exciting than the other. How can you expect me to be wowed by a waltz when the Paso Doble is setting the floor on fire? Is it just me? What do my loyal readers think? I think it would probably get boring if everyone did the same dance, though, so I really have no solution to my problem.Tonight's BestOur first perfect score went to Sabrina Bryan. I must say it was well-deserved. She set the bar very high for the night and though some came close, Sabrina has shown she is the front-runner in this competition. At this point, I have no idea if anyone can beat her!Where did Cameron Mathison come from? Th...

Jane Seymour and Tony Dovolani, Dancing with the Stars
Every Monday and Tuesday night, Dancing with the Stars' head costume designer stands at the back of the studio audience waiting for the show to begin. It's his reward to himself for making it through another grueling week. He needs to see his staff's original creations come to life as the stars and pros enter the ballroom down the twin twinkling staircases. Conception, design, manufacture and fitting of these highly technical dance garments all happen in the space of five short days. Major adjustments happen within hours of the show. The colors, fabrics, feathers and Swarovski crystals all have to be just right. "I have to be here," says Randall Christensen. "It's like watching my babies being born."
But on this Monday night, he's already seen something that took his breath away: Jane Seymour, in dress rehearsal, performing the tango. "She is

Mel B jives to the top! Melanie Brown, Maksim Chmerkovskiy by Carol Kaelson/ABC
Episode RecapTango! Tango! Tango! And the jive! Without a doubt, Jennie Garth was my pick of the tango dances! You could see the fire and anger in her face, which is what the tango is all about! I was glad to see her strike back after her slip last week! She didn't score the highest, but I think her improvement was the most notable. Way to go, Jennie!Jane Seymour also had a great tango. Loved the wig! Very Bond girl! The death of her mother may have her down, but she is not out. She'll be in the competition for the long haul! Did anyone else think Carrie Ann poured the cheese on a little too thick? It was nice that she was moved by Jane's dance, but I couldn't help but wonder if she was going to break out and cry!So who had a bad tango? Cameron Mathison did! It was not his technique, but I thought they spoofed the tango. How dare they mock the mother of all ballroom dances!? They took the passion out of it and made it quirky, which I did not care for at all. The technique was there,...

Tony Dovolani and Jane Seymour, Dancing with the Stars
Tonight it was all about the dancer who wasn't in the room. Yes, Queen Latifah dazzled the Dancing with the Stars studio audience by performing live with her killer pipes and her no-fuss, no-muss approach. There was also one big moment of surprised silence after billionaire Mark Cuban and Las Vegas showman Wayne Newton escaped the hangman's gallows while host Tom Bergeron sent the sexy and intriguing cover boy, Albert Reed, packing.
But underscoring all of that was the announcement that actress Jane Seymour was absent because her mother had passed away. Mieke F

It's ok, Albert! You look great! Albert Reed, Anna Trebunskaya by Carol Kaelson/ABC
Episode Recap: "Eviction 2"Before I say anything else, I want to send my thoughts and prayers to Jane Seymour, whose mother passed away. Jane I'm so sorry! I'm glad you'll be coming back and I hope you can find some peace in such a dark time.In case you didn't gather this from my paragraph above, I operate under the assumption that the stars of DWTS read this blog religiously. Don't believe me? Did you check out Marie Osmond's hair tonight? It looked better than last night and I did mention in my recap what a faux pas it was! Ah, the power of my blog! It is changing the course of the show! P.S. I'm so kidding. Now onto the results!I'm a bit shocked about the bottom two! I've made it clear I'm no fan of Albert Reed, but I thought he still had a few weeks left in him. Sorry Albert, it's back to the runway for you! Again, who is voting for Wayne Newton? Stop! Mark Cuban dodged a big bullet tonight and, as much as I hate to say it, so did Floyd Mayweather. Albert's performances ...

Jane Seymour by John Shearer/WireImage.com
Jane Seymour's mother, Mieke Frankenberg, passed away Monday in England due to complications from a stroke she suffered earlier this year. She was 92.Seymour, who's currently a contestant on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, will miss Tuesday's results show to fly to England for the funeral services. In a statement released on Tuesday, Seymour referred to the challenges her mother faced throughout her lifetime, including a three-and-a-half-year stint in a Japanese concentration camp, but concluded by saying, "Her spirit was indomitable and will continue to live forever in our hearts." Seymour has often (including in this recent TVGuide.com feature) said her mother was a big fan of Dancing with the Stars and was one of the reasons the actress decided to participate in the show. Seymour's reps say it's unclear when the star will return to the dance floor. Reporting by Ali Gazan and Deborah Starr Seibel

Jennie Garth, Dancing with the Stars
When the cameras stop rolling, the brave smiles disappear. Want to know how the dancers are really feeling about their performances on Dancing with the Stars? Watch closely for the first five minutes after the audience files out — when family and friends surround them on the dance floor — and you see things that would make a grown man cry.
There's Jennie Garth, so disappointed in the tail end of her lovely performance — especially after working so hard to get it right — being held by her husband, actor Peter Facinelli, who kisses her gently, over and over, on her forehead and on the tip of her nose. He speaks quietly in her ear as she nods, wiping away the tears. "I'm so disappointed that I didn't make that last move," she says later. "It was a great finale to the dance and we worked so hard on it. And it's embarras
