James Parnell

Country singer Jessie Rae Anders (REBECCAH BUSH) solicits Reno's help after a series of mysterious incidents leads him to suspect that her life is in danger. While Reno tries to capture the stalker, he becomes romantically involved with Jessie. He not only reveals his true identity to her but contemplates a change in careers. After discovering that Jessie's manager and business partner, Parnell Post (JAMES McDONNELL), is entitled to 50% of all earnings from Jessie's songs, Reno also learns that Post is insisting she sign an extensive and lucrative contract with a record company. When Reno finds a distinctive item linking the volatile manager to the stalker, Reno hurries to determine the truth before a deathoccurs.
