X-Men: Days of Future Past
X-Men: Days of Future Past combines two generations of mutants when Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) travels back in time to prevent an anti-mutant future from becoming reality.
But in the film's final trailer, it seems that convincing (the apparently not paralyzed) Xavier (James McAvoy) that he's actually is from the future — let alone to unite with his on-and-off rival Magneto (Michael Fassbender) — isn't exactly easy.
Peter Dinklage is joining the cast of the new X-Men movie, Days of Future Past, according to director Bryan Singer. There's no word on who the Game of Thrones star will play.
Leave it to oddball Brick Heck (Atticus Shaffer) to stumble across the reason for the season: "Mom, you never told me church was based on a book." The Middle (ABC, 8/7c) leads off a night of holiday-themed sitcom episodes with an instant classic in which Brick's incessant questions about the Good Book lead sister Sue to enlist pied-piper roving Reverend ...

Jeers to the Oscar voters for rewarding Atonement with a knee-jerk best-picture nomination. I took a holiday from TV so I could see it and be prepared for its onslaught of accolades. But I wasn't prepared for what an overwrought piece of kitsch this movie is. Keira Knightley does most of her acting with her shoulderblades, and James McAvoy is a nonentity. And I'm sorry, but did I miss the scene that explains why these two love each other so desperately or at all? If Joe Wright's odd, silly Titanic wannabe beats Paul Thomas Anderson's genuine masterpiece on Oscar night, there will be blood!
